Love the android interface and now that has included dolby vision/dolby atmos, makes it that much better. Menus are very fast and starts streaming quickly. Nvidia has had a history of supporting the previous unit with updates so would expect that to continue with this version. Since android has basically any app you could want from amazon, Disney+, Vudu, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Highly recommend

Streams all of the major services plus works as game machine and media server.

I use my sheild to stream, i have iptv services installed, i game on the sheild, installed my plex.. Its great.

I run this as my plex media server 24/7 with no issues whatsoever. It runs Android TV OS and has pretty much everything the google play store has to offer. I cannot praise the AI upscaling enough, it is amazing for 1080p content. I do not recommend it so much for 720p and lower, but you can compare the before and after on the remote control with an easy button press.

I buy these as gifts for a few reasons; 1} My oldest one is from 2016 and still works perfectly 2} There is no better streaming device! - Easy UI and actions are very "snappy" 3} Also doubles as a current gen gaming device with great performance! (Top Notch Device) - Justin

The fastest Android tv box you can get right now. I upgraded from a Roku Ultra and it was a big improvement. The interface is nice and smooth. Apps load fast. Scrolling speed through SlingTV, Disney+, Netflix is amazingly fast. I could never go back to another box. Powerful enough to game. Was able to try a few games using Geforce Now. The price is a little pricey at $199 but nothing else compares.

The streaming is great. An overall great product. This is a huge step up from the Fire Stick. Awesome product.

So far I really like the Nvidia Shield Pro. It’s fast, has all the apps I need and I really like playing games on it.

This is my 3rd Shield Pro purchases. Love the functionalities and great performance. Play 4K movies smoothly.

I used this to replace my old Steam Link box and I was completely unprepared for how well this worked. Streaming from my PC to the TV through the Shield TV Pro via NVidia GameStream is such a vastly superior solution over Steam Link. Additionally you can stream over Moonlight if GameStream isn't doing it for you. Thus far I haven't been able to pick out which method is better, since they're both incredibly good and a MASSIVE leap over Steam Link.

One thing you can say is that NVIDIA keeps these things lasting. I wanted another one so why not buy the best one they have. Much better than using the apps that come with the TV. Quicker and you can find more apps than you might on your TV section. Pricey? Yes but like I said NVIDIA makes sure you can use it for years to come ( I still have the first one running great.)

Rock solid android tv, connected 1 tb samsung ssd as internal storage and 14 tb wd external drive as external, both work flawlessly. internet is connected via ethernet cable and navigation and streaming content is butter smooth. Remote can be configured with ios for extra comfort. with smb protocol i can move my media downloaded from internet to the plex server using my windows computer (great media streaming device). Added kodi tv app apk.

I have held off buying the Nvidia Shield for a long time. Price was my main reason for waiting. They have since dropping the price and I finally purchased the Shield. Best Android device for streaming in my opinion. Very nice interface and great speed. It will pair nicely with my LG G1 77” television and my Marantz Receiver completing my home theater setup. Very pleased so far.

Easy setup and easy to use. By far the best media streaming device I've ever used. Better than any smart tv, roku, or chromecast. I also use it to stream games from my pc and it works perfectly. Overall it's main use is for the Kodi app. I like to copy my movies over to my hard drive so I don't need the disk and the Kodi app works better on this device than any pc I have it on. Own two of these because of how much I love it.

I already had the previous version with the game controller. Never actually used the game controller. I needed a second one for my other TV. I can't really tell the difference in my usage from this one and the old one as far as performance. The remote on this one is much better, I actually had to get a replacement unit from Best Buy as the first one the remote would not light up. I love that fact that I can easily control my tv with the remote (the volume and power)
