Got this to replace an awfully buggy Roku streaming stick that we replaced twice before discovering this. Fast switching between apps and navigation! I have an aging Vizio soundbar which paired up perfectly, eliminating the need for another remote. Powers up my older Samsung TV as well. Programmable buttons (app store download) is a nice bonus. Haven't played any games on it yet, but it synced up perfectly to an XBox One controller. Have moved between the Roku, Amazon FireTV Cube, and an Apple Mac Mini, and the Shield puts em all to shame. Definitely worth it!

This is definitely one of the best Android Tv boxes on the market especially if you're already familiar with Nvidia games and hardware, its small fast and able to do alot of things than just stream movies and videos but fair warning there are certain restrictions when you update this device so read first and do some research before you do decide to upgrade, other than that you'll enjoy having this and the experience trust me when I say this..

This was my 2nd Shield TV. They are great streaming boxes with large storage and you add most all apps onto it. I did recently subscribe to DirecTV and their DirecTV Stream App is not available so I have to watch that through my smart TV.

This product is great for Streaming, in my opinion one of the best. But i use it also as a Retro Gaming device. Various Emulators allow you to play retro games as well as stream current gen from a PC if you have the correct hardware to do it. I Own 3 now, 2 are used primarily for streaming from video services as well as my own PLEX server.

I have owned several Android TV Set top boxes. From cheap to expensive. The Nvidia Shield Android TV Pro is by far the best tv box I have purchased. Very responsive. Great connectivity. Great picture quality. Does not have all the features of other high end android tv boxes. This box just works.

The fastest streaming device Ive ever had the pleasure of purchasing. It costs more that any fire device but runs way better and smoother than anything ive ever used before including the cube and 4k stick.

Always have had firesticks. I broke down when my fire sticks memory got full and became very slow. I had also purchased another android tv box before lasted 6 months now having issues with it. I will be purchasing another one for my bedroom. Very smooth and fast definitely worth the money.

The Nvidia Shield Pro should have been exactly what I wanted for a streaming device. I was able to set it up after returning the first device that didn't work at all. I was able to get all my streaming apps, and the picture quality is very good. The main issues I have are; 1) I have to constantly restart the device because it locks up and/or apps just stop working for no reason and 2) the remote is the worst I have ever used. It is a triangle in shape and the Netflix button is a total pain! Every time you pick up the remote, your finger hits that button and changes from what you're watching to Netflix. The button is in a poor location and very sensitive.

Best set-top streamer that I have ever used. I love how versitile and fast it is. Apple TV4K, pales in comparison. Roku wishes they had the speed. Amazon Fire, doesn't belong in the same category. Google Cast, built in! Just Perfect!

My go to streaming device. VERY capable. This makes my third Shield TV. I hope Nvidia produces a successor to this version. If they do I WILL be buying it!

The absolute best purchase that I have made within the past 3 years! It was extremely timely, since it was right before the pandemic hit. The NVIDIA SHIELD does it all. I removed and stored my Firestick for good. The ethernet connection speeds are amazing and the ease of use is above all other similar products.

It was easy to set up. The 4K picture is crystal clear. Took no time to get apps all set up. No issues with the upscaling. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is one of the best streaming devices out there. It has good computing power and if you are comfortable with android systems, you can customize it. This model has a better remote than previous models. Nvidia has excellent customer service in case you have an issue.

After using fire Tvs of various models for years I became tried of how slow they had become. The shield is fast and generally stable. I have had very few complaints.

The device is fine but it needs a few updates. It's better than most streaming devices. The power cord needs to be type C, it needs a better CPU since android devices overtime degrade more then others. The remote has this issue where you press on the navigation ring you think you are pressing left, right down, or up. But if you are not careful it presses both say right and down. It really needs to be seperate buttons not a circle. The remote does need to be a bit bigger and a rectangle I am not really a fan of that remote shape.

Does the job exceptionally well. Picture quality with upscaling is impressive. Form factor is small and easy to hide. Opening the battery compartment for the remote takes a bit to figure out. Press the notch in the back of the remote near the IR end and the rest is easy.

The older version pro model had you h features in the device itself. I think they could have done a better job. New remote is good. This device was introduced few years back and by today's standards it is priced high. We purchased it since we do a lot of streaming and it works good for it. Overall recommended however look at other options

This is my third Shield TV and its the best one so far. I upgraded from my Shield TV (2015) (which still works) for Dolby Atmos support via Netflix. Nvidia has done a great job ensuring the system gets updated regularly and compatible with all the streaming platforms I use (Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, etc).
