This shield does it all! It is a powerful device that also works as a Plex server. With full android operating system and constant updates from Nvidia it is simply a must have addition to anyone’s home entertainment system. Features like Dolby atmos and AI upscale give it a great sound and picture.

Hands down best streaming device out there. Full Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision support. Plenty of ram to run all apps with out any issues.

Previously I had a firetv that served me well, but I was ready for something new. The nvidia shield pro's interface is nice - I like how I can configure the layout of favorites and the rows of top shows/items for each app I install. I use it for live tv, hulu, netflix, disney+, and espn... all work well. Its also nice for a variety of emulators for older game systems. I thought I would get Geforce now... but it turns out it is really just beta by invite only... and I am in the queue waiting for an invite. One day I look forward to trying out streaming games. I am able to use an older Fire TV bluetooth wireless game controller with it, and I have a logitech wireless keyboard, but surprisingly I had trouble with xbox one bluetooth controllers. I could pair one xbox controller easily, but as soon as I added a second, it wouldn't pair right away until after 3 tries. And then a 3rd wouldn't pair after 10s of tries. Then after rebooting, none would pair. So I have concluded the bluetooth support is flaky. Fortunately the older bluetooth amazon fire controller works well. I plan to get a USB hub and wired controllers next.

Excellent additional resource for the older TVs. Plus you can preload so much on it.

I now own two of these. They are very responsive and work well. The AI upscaling to 4k is pretty good. Probably one of the best streamers available. That being said the design and hardware are a few years old and a price drop and hardware refresh are probably overdue.

This thing is a beast. Getting a second one. Snappy apps and plenty of features. Love the way you can insert a USB stick and view media. Plex server and client installed. You can Chromecast to it as well. Super powerful!!!

The best streaming box there is. I do not have a 4K tv yet (yes yes) but the picture quality and sound from the Shield is awesome. Best upgrade from my Roku stick!

I love this thing, use it daily. Despite some thumbnail storage issues with Plex, it is a fantastic streaming device. Cloud gaming and 4K upscaling work great.

I been a shield owner for 2 years now and I thought they would never update their machine but I was wrong and it's an improvement over the last model. I definitely noticed an increase in speed and functionality. It's not perfect but it's a great box and I'm satisfied with it. Love the new remote!

The sheild is very fast and responsive, unlike a firestick, and even gaster than my roku. Finally got a pc that can keep up with gamestream and works great. Built-in Chromecast is a great bonus. Still a bit overpriced IMO but love it! Goodbye Directv forever!

One of the best items I have purchased. It's a steaming box with upscaling and audio is great. Perfect for upscaling video and audio in Atmos.

Faster and better picture quality than the fire cube but expensive

Use this for streaming a GeForce NOW. Works the best to get 4k HDR 120hz

Awesome media player. Love it. Use it primarily to play mkv files from a 8tb hard drive plugged into usb on the shield. I like the remote much more than my Apple TV remote. The remote is backlit also.

This is the best tv box you can get. It's fast, small, has a ton of storage and sorts all the apps i use.

The SHIELD is an amazing multi-media device, good for gaming and great for media consumption overall. It allows for 4K HDR playback with lossless Dolby Atmos support, which is exactly what I was looking for! The NVIDIA GameStream functionality is also amazing, allowing me to stream games from my PC in 4K HDR (with upscaling and some other hiccups).

This is the streaming King of Kings. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner. So far my experience with this device has been great and I don't feel like I'm scratching the surface. Since using this I haven't touch my fire cube, apple TV or Google Chromecast.

This device is fast and picture quality is good, but Geforce Now is one of the absolute most difficult apps I have EVER used in my entire life. Syncing up numerous passwords, inability to control open games, etc has been painful. It's a shame that Geforce Now is so awful and the integration with steam is abysmal. Also, I'm not able to install apps that I want, so i have to mirror from an android phone to use the apps. Unfortunately, I'll be returning this device as it's just way to unreliable.

LOVE this. I have been in the market for a better product than what we have had for and this was the ticket. We replaced our Google Chromecast with Google TV with this device (still like the Chromecast but this was far better and love the remote).
