Waited a year before writing this review to give it a true test. I’m very impressed with picture and sound. Only nuance is how easy it is to hit the Netflix button which takes you to there in the middle of watching another streamer.

Amazing picture quality, very quick and snappy interface. Absolutely recommend this product. It's the best streaming device I have in the house. The sound reproduction is amazing on our 7.2.2 system

This box does everything better than Apple better than Roku better than the firestick no jailbreaking required I have a 2017 model and a 2019 worth every penny I have a 6 terabyte hard drive hooked to the back of the movies downloaded legally and watch everything on the big screen

AI upscaling is great for all your favorite apps. The ability to sideload apps is also a plus & Geforce Now works wonderful as well.

I had been using an Roku Ultra before I bought this. The advantage of being able to stream Dolby Atmos with the shield is worth every penny and it now streams atmos on Netflix also. I believe the video quality has improved also but is hard to compare not being able to have them side by side.

NVIDIA's SHIELD is still the best streamer available! Tons of compute power, running on AndroidTV, and the remote upgrade from 2019 is the best remote to have! We love how the Shield just works, and it works amazing

This is a beautiful streaming device. You can download any app for it and use everything on there. You can also hook it up to a hard drive, and you can use any of the old movies that you have saved in the past on your hard drives, and you can play it off there as well, which makes it extraordinary. I have used Apple TV devices for many years, and I have to say that the video quality on this is much more excellent and cleaner. 

Hopefully this is worth the money. Looking to do a few more things than just streaming apps. I already have Apple TV 4K, Roku, and a Fire TV. Still learning how to use this unit.

This is the absolute best streaming device you can get. It works flawlessly. I use a plex server, and it is the only smart device I have found that supports all of my audio formats, plus dolby vision HDR and atmos sound. The gaming aspects are a definite bonus.

Item was purchased several months ago. have not had complaint no issues with overloading. Runs perfect.

Best streaming device. I have Apple TV 4K, Rocky Ultra and Google’s Chromecast. This is by far the best of them. It is comparable with the Apple TV 4K, but with more flexibility that ATV and 2 USB ports for external storage for my media

Awesome is all I can say . I switched from a google chrome cast and a fire tv stick and won’t go back . It being android tv is the best part . You can side load apps to it and play games and use a keyboard and mouse if you want . I use mine to run all my streaming services and run some android apps like my online gran board app for my dart board . I like the fact it has Ethernet so I can hard wire it in and it’s not closed off like fire stick

Hands down best media player For all your entertainment needs Very user friendly with play store available to download all your favorite apps and games. Also very fast and updates are always available to keep your media player up to date. Truly worth the purchase.

You get what you pay for. Nvidia shield is by far the fastest steaming device on the market. It's snappy when going through menus and play's videos instantly when streaming.

Paired this with my LG OLED. Needed the streaming apps my TV didn't have and this has them all minus Apple+. Also works great as a Plex server and supports high bit rate playback with Dolby Vison and Dolby Atmos. Great addition to a media junkies arsenal.

So far it's all I've researched about and more I may add. My plans to use it as a server to access my videos stored on a NAS. Little on the high end in price but after u take in consideration reliability and performance you forget about how much it cost. So far a Great unit!

I upgraded from a 4K fire stick to the Nvidia. The speed of the processor, the video quality, and the WiFi speeds are far superior with the Nvidia. The difference in price is well worth buying this unit as it’s better than any android box I’ve used!!
