Although Nvidia Shield has not updated this device since 2019, it is still the best streaming machine in the 2023 market. The Amazon Sticks or Cube with all its upadates does not even come close to the Shield; and all those other expensive sreaming devices are all junk. So, if you're looking for streaming device that still supported by its company through firmware updates and great Customer Service, Nvidia Shield is the one for you.

This is a must have for all your tv needs! It plays 4K and does so much for such a small device. This compliments any Tv.

I tried those inexpensive boxes on Amazon. One worked one did not. This device, there was no doubt. The price tag was a bit much, but you get what you pay for. If you need an Android TV box and you have the money, you will not be disappointed...

Replacement to a Google Chrome with google tv. This unit is very superior. I have 7.1 Receiver that works with HDMI and all surround modes. Software just updated to keep up.

I had google chrome cast with google tv 4k and i had bought two at different times die on me recently. Audio issues, turning off randomly, slow load times, ect. The thing was, i didnt know it was that bad till i got the shield tv. I honestly figured every android tv box was like that. This is by far worth the money vs the chrome cast. Youtube guys are paid to say the chromecast w/google tv its on par with the shield, its no where close. Just know this has the same cpu as a nintendo switch and has plenty of ram and ssd to make the experience very snappy. Get the nvidia shield, dont bother with google hardware.

The absolute best streaming device, with plenty of power and flexibility to make it the best possible device in its class. Whether you want to play your personal collection of videos, stream on services, or play your PC games it has it all.

I was waiting for the right time to buy this on sale. I can tell that patience is a virtue. I installed it together with my PC and watch how to maximize and utilize it to it's potential. I was amazed how fast compare to Amazon Fire TV.

Could've really gave it a little more than a %25 power boost for the money. New remote is WORLDS better than the original. I run a Plex server on my 2 year old original 2nd gen Shield with hardly ever an issue. Newer faster tech will be great for Plex

The Nvidia Shield is the king of streamers! I had a some video content that was coming across choppy with some other steaming devices, have yet to have a problem with the Shield. The backlit remote is a welcomed addition too.

I was using my smart TVs app and were disappointed with the performance of them. Buying a standalone media player to play apps and stream media is what it does and does it well. Also has some great built in features. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this just for streaming plex movies. It works like a charm. Every movie from my server streams directly with 0 encoding.

If you are looking for a media device that can play your plex media with Dolby Vision and Atmos this is the only device you'll want.

It's not my favorite interface... In fact I would rather just use my Roku TV. That said it's one of the only products that offers a gigabit Ethernet port which is great for local Streaming.

I have four of these boxes and they are amazing. Best streaming box on the market. Definitely would recommend this product.

This was a huge upgrade from the firesticks. It runs my setup flawless and runs my TV programs effortlessly.

I've used a Firestick for many years. I decided to try something different and go with the Nvidia shield pro. So far everything is great. The ability to expand the external memory with the USB inputs is a seller to me. I'm still learning a lot of the ins and outs of this device, but mainly the options are similar to the FireTV/stick max. There seems to be more that I need to learn more about, above and beyond the Firestick.
