I bought this NVIDIA Shield Pro to replace a regular 2016 Shield. I notice faster activity and a sharper picture. I'm dealing with far less buffering than I did with the same apps on the 2016 Shield. This device is well worth the upgrade.

I had one of these already, with the new remote control it is way better. My wife even went to this device after being on Amazon Fire TV 4/8 years oh, she is now a shield TV fan. Thank you Shield TV and Best Buy it's the only place I could get it.

Bought the Nvidia shield this week hooked it up which was easy. But the best thing about it is the upscaling of videos from Vudu , Netflix and amazon. Also streaming Dolby Atmos sound really good not as good as the Blu-ray Disc but close.

Works great. Just what i needed to wtream 4K/Atmos content from my Plex server.

The nvidia shield is the #1 fastest streamer on the market,do yourself a favor and pick this up today. It also come with optional joystick with is a must.....no flickering when watching movies or playing games this is my third one...A+++

Best purchase, excellent TV box, retro gaming device and Plex server money can buy! A must have for the of the capabilities! Buy it and you will love it! If you are reading this, that means you should be buying it instead!

ALl you have to ask yourself is: "Does anything else do the AI upscale form lower format to 4K" Nothing can and or will. Poor internet got you down keeping netfli at 1080 p? AI enhancement fixes that. All apps work amazing on this.

Still the best streaming device in 2024. I have been completely happy with this purchase.

Best media for playing 4k plex media and other streaming services, better than apple, Roku, fire stick google tv etc. I have them all and I still use shield tv for all my media, never struggles and never freezes

Honestly, I thought I'd be more wowed by this. I mainly use for streaming and it doesn't really do anything that much better than the other Android/Google streamers. The remote is nice with the motion activated back lights though.

Overall good unit, only issue is that included remote does not have a mouse toggle button.

The best of the best. A great high-end device. It comes with AI intelligence to upscale non 4k content. It has GForce graphics. It's easy to set up. All you need to do is to connect power source to outlet and quick east set up. It has a build in web to access apps. It is pricier but way better than a Firestick which does not have straight wired connections nor a web engine browser.

This is the Best Android TV box in the market...I'm so glad I bought it. I can now play games with this device...I don't need a gaming console to play games!!! Also watch Movies and TV...Its an All in one Entertainment center!

Nvideo shield is a fantastic streaming box. It is well worth the money. No problems to worry with. It is reliable and easy to use. Nvideo Shield has been well worth the money.

I love this device, have had a bunch of smart tvs over the last few years and this thing just works so much better. Quick, easy to use, easy to connect to the tv and all the apps I want. The google integration is very nice as well. Only complaint is the shape of the remote but it works so well that I don't really care lol. Id like to get another one eventually. I have it connected to a smart tv it is so much better than the TV's OS

Definitely the best streaming device available, but: Way too expensive for what you get. Lots of features you would never use. Best customization since its stock Google TV, but still not enough customization. Faster then all the rest, but still not as fast as it should be for the price.

I love this thing, but I'm not sure it's worth the price outside of a couple specific use cases. I bought it primarily to serve as a Plex server. It wasn't super simple to set up with a shared external drive, and I did have to do a few uninstalls/reinstalls of PMC early on, but between Nvidia, Google and Plex the kinks seem to be fully worked out and I'm left with an always-on, low power Plex server that can comfortably serve up a couple streams at a time. Google TV as a platform is ... fine. The layout is cluttered by ads and the "assistant" tends to get in the way more often than not, but it's become the best option for the most access to apps/streaming services. If you're not running a Plex server and have no interest in games on this thing (which I haven't looked into at all, but presumably they're ... something?), you're probably better off with any number of cheaper options, your gaming console, or even just using whatever your TV came with.

works great! note that to use DV, you might need to upgrade your HDMI cable. I do wish there was a quick way to "clone" your settings/apps when upgrading from 1 shield to another. The remote is much better than the old one.

Much better than a firestick. UI is intuitive. Only downside is the triangular remote.
