I use this device for at home retro console emulation. It handles PSP at 4X resolution which looks great on the big screen. I handles all the 8 and 16 but systems with ease. It can even emulate the GameCube and Wii with Dolphin. I already had a spare Xbox One Bluetooth enabled controller so I paired it with the shield and it has worked great without any issues. I have several gripes which kept me from giving it a five star rating. First, the device is not using the latest Android version which keeps it from being able to run PS2 games out of the box. Second, it has no Micro SD or SD card slot. While you can expand the memory with a USB thumb stick or a usb hard drive they are clunky and cumbersome. It would have been far nicer to put the biggest ads card in it possible. This device also works well as a video streamer for things like Netflix, HBOMax and Disney+.

Ive had many devices in the past that supposedly do the same type of things. To make a long story short I now have three of these. The other gaming/streaming devices dont even come close at all.

Great streaming box and you can still side load just about anything that you like. You can also game on this and it really has great 4K graphics. This is much better than the regular version (the tube).

The absolute standard IMHO for streaming set top boxes. I have this 2019 Shield Pro 4k, the 2019 Shield TV 4k (cylinder), and the 2017 Shield Pro in different rooms of the house.

The best streaming device you can buy. Others may work but this is the best. My second one. First one lasted for 8 years and was hit by lightning so I ordered another one. Can't go wrong, Love it.

After searching for an Android based TV box for a while now, I kept being redirected to the Nvidea Shield. I finally took the plunge, and so far I'm loving it. Great product, Easy Setup, No issues.

The best android tv experience available. Dolby vision, atmos all the apps you could want plus nvidia games and game streaming from desk top is awesome. I have these on every TV in my house

The best streaming device EVER! Pricey but its worth it! Only knock is doesn't come with HDMI cord... come on now with the price tag should of came with a gold plated 4k one! But whatever still the best box.

Had to return the first as it came with many issues but the second one works very well I just don’t think it’s worth 200 bucks. It’s super fast and responsive so that’s a plus.

Best android tv device hands down. Any android app can be installed along with an easy customizable home screen. The AI upscaling is a huge plus as well.

The Nvidia shield pro is a very nice streaming device, moved up from the fire stick and glad I did, almost all the buffering issues the firestick had is gone, the set up is pretty tricky, very glad I started out with learning how to side load apps on the fire stick, that gave me a foundation for understanding how the streaming devices work, it would be nice if someone published a Nvidia shield pro for dummies book. The only issue I have is the remote, it has a Netflix button on it right below the turn down the sound button it seems to be right where you grab the remote to pick it up and almost always touch it and you go to the Netflix, very poor location for that button.

The upscaling looks great even on an inexpensive TV. Grat selection of apps too.

This is the best we have ever had, plenty of memory and fast processing power and the light up remote is the best.

Used to use Roku Ultra but needed something for accessing my NAS better since I wanted to use Kodi instead of Plex. I love the interface, just as good as Roku. The upscaling is fantastic.

A great device for video streaming and playing games.

This is thr cadillac of steaming devices. Quick sbd easu to use with tons of extras. I ise this over thr webos on LG tvs. So muxh better.

Playing through AV processor and its working well. Audio sounds great and my AV is showing 24/192 on Amazon Music, although it may not be a reliable display. Sounds great either way. AI processing of SDR is mildly better, but far from night and day difference. Remote control is a bit infuriating as I'm constantly pressing the Netflix button accidentally. Otherwise its very solid remote. I'm sure in time I will use much more of the Nvidia Shield capabilities.

This item is perfect for the application I have intended. This is the second one I have purchased for my bedroom .
