I owned the early model Shield awhile back but returned it as it had some issues that never seemed to get fixed. When this 2019 model was released I decided to give it another shot and I've been very happy with it. The addition of Dolby Vision has helped make it a more balanced offering in a streaming video device.

Ordered this to get access to the AI upscaling and gave my 2017 model to a family member. Not much to say. The 2017 model was great and this is an improvement over that.

Fast device, can sideload other non-TV Android apps easily. Remote is good with a mic for Google Assistant support. Built in chromecast for everything else. Has USB ports for hard drives, keyboard and mouse etc

I like the upscaling, speed of going through every function and even the remote is great.

This is the best streamer on the market. The ability to upscale HD to UHD is simply amazing. I have several streaming apps that are only in HD. With the Nvidia AI, HD apps are upscaled to UHD with excellent results

Ditched our cable TV and bought this device. Terrific, clear picture and sound. Very happy to use it with our streaming services. Easy to set up.

Probably the best streaming device available. The only downside is it wont display Youtube content in HDR where available. It will show 4K content on YouTube but just not in HDR.

I wish I bought this sooner. I had the fire stick and thought that there was no need for anything else when it came to a media player. It improves any picture. 720 to 1080. 1080 to 4k. Just amazing

This nvidia shield has been the best media box I've owned the memory and everything that is installed in it is phenomenal. Little expensive but well worth the extra cost

Plex on PS5 is a sad joke, so I needed something to reliably be a Plex client. What I didn’t realize until I bought the shield Pro is that it can also be a Plex server. Much better than running the server on my Mac Studio M2 ultra, in terms of it being always available, and can now shut down the Mac after working.

What can I say about this top of the line streaming box. This is an upgrade to the Roku and especially the Amazon Firestick. The system is extremely fast and responsive. Must have!!

I love it! This is a great alternative to cable. In one month it pays for itself compared to the $340 cable bill I was paying every month

Many people already know about NVIDIA's Shield media player, and this latest generation player is even better, does 4K up-converting using AI and more! Still Great, very flexible and seems to play everything!

Absolutely no lag when playing games on the big screen hook up Xbox controller and stream pc with steam. Definitely worth the money.

Wonderful little machine that streams my PC as well as other media perfectly. The ability to sideload apps is a nice bonus for emulation, as well as compatibility with all your devices and services.

Amazing box. Better upscaling than the older box. The AI is much improved. It's minimal, but I can see it. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about a box. All the extras, this is worth upgrading to.

Love the product so far. It is able to play Dolby Atmos for my Samsung Atmos and plays HDR quality for other apps like Netflix. I plan on keeping this for a while. A little pricey but overall worth the value.
