Excellent module for playing lots of games in movies with your apps

I've always liked the shield, I had one a few years ago that I ended up selling and I wish I hadn't. I went and picked up this one and it's just as perfect as I remembered.

The upscailing this device does makes it impossible watch TV on anything else!

Although pricey, you get what you pay for. Very powerful and gig eithernet connection make it well worth the price for the best streaming box around. Remote control is very easy to use and navigate.

I have owned Nvidia Shield's since the first model was released almost 5 years ago. These Android TV boxes are the best... have the best and fastest processor and love the new updates and the revised remote!!!

It is easy to setup,and is very sleek. Just need to determine if it truly is a need for the home. I do like the fact that performance/video quality was quite nice. Its a great product for those who don't have other streaming devices (Chromecast, Roku e.t.c).It isn't cheap though.

Best android TV solution. Enjoyed this for over a year, will never go back to regular TV. It's worked flawlessly and really impressed with upscaling capabilities. 5 Star for sure.

Still the best digital media player after having been 4 years in the market

We use this for all our steaming, gaming, and it works amazing. We have xFi app downloaded and stream our cable right through here. It’s easy to use and user friendly. The speed is really fast.

I bought the shield for 1 reason only. So I could stream my home media library to my tv in whatever form the media is stored in. I use the free plex app which can be downloaded to your computer and to the shield. The shield is the only device that allows you to play dts and dd content without re-encoding. For example, if you have the plex app on your smart tv but your smart tv doesn't support dts, it will transcode to dd. More importantly though, there isn't many if any devices that will stream lossless audio (dolby truehd or dts-ma and atmos). This does it and it does it flawlessly. Small unit that doesn't take up a lot of space and functions as intended. Also love the remote.

I've used many android products. By far the best yet.Will definitely purchase another. Would recommend purchasing device if the price is not an issuse. Going to purchase for each of my tv's.

nice upgrade version, love the new remote, hate that they stop including the gamepad, and you need to buy separate. besides that love the unit, and will recommend it

Can't really write a review but all seamed good was a gift for someone I need to return it as I plugged it in once was hard to set up but have other streaming services ect. Returned the controller but forgot the remote for this was mising out of the box and totally forgot about it thank god I have a protection plan, I wonder how much money I will get back for a brand new one I hooked up ones and resealed it back in the box and forgot to take it back cause best buy messes up so many times on protection plans, for example I wasn;t paying attention I was using mine on a 40 dollar logitech mousepad and I didn't realize none of it was exchanged still open box and my dirty mouse pad that the warranty was supposed to go towards. That's why the manager says I have so many retuens for protectioon plans? Lost 400 dolllars on a TV I brought back the next day.

Still the best option and put performs any Firestick.

Amazing picture quality! Superior picture over my apple tv on my OLED. Super happy with this device. Absolutely the best streaming device on the market.

I like everything about it, its easy to use, it supports most apps and that i can game with it.
