    By far the best media streamer you can buy. I upgraded from the 2015 version (only because the power supply failed which Nvidia even replaced for free) it supports many audio and video formats, as one who has a Plex server it's nice to see it can direct play literally anything I've sent to it.

    Don't really that often, but it did upscale an older movie I watched Last Of The Mohicans. I am not a gamer.

    NVIDIA Shield TV is my choice for streaming and in home gaming. I am not an avid hard core gamer but I play for fun. Nvidia Shield has a wide variety of compatible android apk's and it has enough power and ram to support subscribed media providers HD streaming. AI capable Upscaling to 4K if you have the internet bandwidth for it. It also runs a PLEX Media server at my house backed by a movie filled WD MycloudEx2Ultra NAS.
