I have the 2015 model and I love it. I bought the pro and it works just great. I love streaming my Netflix and Disney+.

I love the Nvidia Shield. This is my second unit. The Pro model is a great streaming device for my OLED TV.

Excellent for 4K. We replaced our apple TV with this and it works very well. Geforce now works well too.

Works fantastic. better than most china android boxes. Would recommend.

Before the shield I've used Roku players for years. I switched to the shield to try out the game streaming service and because I thought the Roku was a little slow at times. Now that I have had it for a few months I really enjoy it more than Roku. Also, my family has adjusted to it's interface as well. I think Roku might be a little more intuitive to use but overall the ux experience is better with the shield.

Product gives the opportunity to view shows and movies new and old long after the availability has expired. But the process to do this is not user friendly. Maybe for a techie it could be easy.

Upgraded our streaming quality just like we hoped for . Hasn't buffered since we staterted using it !

The title says it all, this device is not noticeably better than the 2017 version. It has the same amount of storage as the base 2017, there is no option for a 500gb drive, there isn't really enough to recommend an upgrade. The best upgrade is the remote and that is still lacking in features, especially the option to change inputs on my TV, if I want to do that i still need to keep my televisions remote near by. Overall, it does the job and allows me to use all of my favorite apps, get it on sale if you can.

This is the best device for streaming but its s little pricey. Its worth it if you stream and get rid of cable.

Still a great tv streamer but it is 5 years old. Lacks hdr+ conversion like the apple tv but supports all loseloss audio formats. If you have movie rips then this is the tv streamer for you.

Amazing 4K streaming media box. It has everything you could possibly want to stream except for Apple TV+ but my smart TV has it built in. The built in Plex media server is convenient as well as the Live Channels feature. I added an external USB hard drive to store media and have it connected to my router for fast access. I also appreciate being able to stream my Steam games and use Nvidia GeForce Now. That’s something the Apple TV unit can’t do!

Great device for streaming tv and movies. Retro gaming is really good on this device also.
