Love my sheild. I use it the play steam games from my desktop on my tv.

Comparing to my Apple TV 4k, so much more verstatile of a devise.

Bought for my boyfriend since he's been wanting one for a while. Overall, it's great. He really likes it. The only downfall is during use of the Netflix app (the issue seems to be a known issue, specifically just with Netflix) the audio is off. If you're not into actually paying attention, this won't be an issue. However, if you are actually focusing on a show/movie and the characters lips start moving before the audio, it gets kind of annoying. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars.

My brother told me about this streamer and by far so much better than the Roku and Firestick. It's a lot more money but for me well worth it, it connects so much faster. I like that I can take it camping and if bad weather can hook up an eternal hard drive to watch movies. I also can hook it to a blue tooth speaker and listen to my music.

I will compare this to the other streaming device I use on my LG OLED, the Apple TV 4K. The Apple TV is much easier to setup, use and navigate. The shield pro wins when it comes to image quality. Especially with the AI enhancement. The difference is quite apparent. I tried using the GeForce now for gaming and was able to play some games on it, but it’s a very clunky setup. With some refinement this could be a runaway winner for nvidia.

Android rules baby! Lacks 8K and HDMI 2.1, but that's ok. The Netflix button on the remote is a horrible design. Wish they could be controlled with a universal remote instead. There's no way to use PIP, unless the developers enable it. You can bring life to any non-smart TV with this. It supports the HBO Max app as well. You can play nvidia games on it, but can't browse internet, as the google chrome browser is very limited. Overall nothing beats the product as of 2020, you can't go wrong with this device.

Good product for Android gamers! I tested both Shield and Fire TV cube and decided to go with Fire TV cube. I use it mainly for movies and shows not much for gaming. I did not find much difference in the movie content. Also fire tV remote is more responsive. Fire tV was cheaper as well. Otherwise both the products are equally good,
