Online retailers couldn't deliver quickly, Best Buy was ready for pickup in 1 hour! Best Buy also had the best price!

It is good but the price is too high for me. The speed is fast.

The hardware is more than adequate for streaming services. This device should have a long life expectancy for delivering quality entertainment for at least 3 - 5 years, depending on your personal use case.

Great product for our usage. The gaming portion of this doesn't fit our interests/needs, which is mildly disappointing but overall still happy with it for everything else! No issues with durability or the consistent use it's put through in my home.

Great console to game on. It seems to freeze up sometimes. You can add extra internal storage to it so it being 16GB isn't so bad. I have a Plex server running so I can listen to my music on the go without having to pay for a streaming service. It's a true media server when set up right.

It's a solid product. Had a few minor issues crop up occasionally, where the menu of the device would be an entirely green screen. Turning the device on and off solved the issue though, so it isn't the end of the world.

After using the Amazon box, Firestick, and other android boxes we tried one of these and it’s substantially better than all the others. Quick to load and it rarely buffers 720p. Occasionally it does at 1080p but it depends on the source. Worth the money and time to just start here

absolutely the best streaming device on the market. Upscales to 4k resolution without any hitches. Plenty enough ram and storage memory for apps. Best perks are the ability to create a server as well as use the shield as a smart home hub. Especially the best on the market.

the shield is a decent product for an older smart tv like mine however the 4k upscaling does not work as advertised... the remote could use some work as well.. like a home button and the netflix button is very sensitive.. otherwise this streams pretty good..

I own 2 of these, and they can stream anything from anywhere without issues. Personally, I'm not a fan of the AI upscaling and the way it changes PQ, but I use a OPPO 203 for anything local so it works out. Also, be warned, this device is on the Google ecosystem, so be prepared for the negatives that come with it.

I have an LG C1 which is awesome but i prefer the Android OS and the Play Store. That is why I bought the Shield TV. Great little box! Haven't used any of the gaming features yet. So, can't comment on that. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it can't play YouTube HDR content. Once that is working, easy 5 stars.

It's great with my Sony X95K 85" and HT-A9, but can be flaky. Pro: Can output Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Con: No Netflix calibrated mode and flaky Plex application

I went with the pro because it has 64-bit Android OS. Primarily use it for streaming movies on my NAS. VLC is the choice for that as the codecs are good for everything. Only negative is that it does not support DRM when watching live TV my HDHomerun with FIOS service. Two thumbs up!!

Best android tv device you can purchase. I love the AI upscale feature this thing has. You can notice the difference. Aside from regular streaming apps it's an emulation machine if you know what you're doing. This is all you will ever need for multimedia.

Not that sure about this yet. It was pricey and I don't see difference from the Firestick which is much cheaper and they do the same thing. Maybe I'm missing something. It appears to be good. Im curious about your thought if you have one.
