I bought this for streaming and maybe a little light gaming.It was however very unstable, buggy, locked up and crashed often. I had to return it. Big disappointment.

This is the top of the line when it comes to streaming boxes and it doesn't have all the bloat and navigation issues that see present with other boxes (Apple, Amazon, etc.). Highly recommended

I use it for as a Plex server and for basic streaming things. Had some hiccups with the Plex in the beginning, but seem to have gotten everything worked out.

The best tv box for these ones who playback ripped blu-rays with atoms through their own home theater system, while ATV can't decode for ripped medias.

The box itself worked well. Good picture and sound, but the remote is junk! It will change channel or input or launch another app while watching TV and that is very annoying. Or you even pick it up and boom there it goes. Needs to be redesigned.

Don’t expect to use it right out of the box, setup takes a minute. Also if you aren’t a real techie, it helps to have a friend that is lol. Other than that the product does exactly what it claims to and is easy to move from tv to tv once it’s setup.

Good product. Test with samsunh qn85 tv.. Sound quality improved but not sure for picture quality.. my samsung tv is already taking youtube avrage picture quality to 4k level ..

I absolutely love this box. It runs everything I need and has a great operation ING system. Always updated by Nvidia.

It was easy to install with my Sony SmartTV and Cox internet. It updated Android TV to the latest version and provided easier and stronger connection to Kodi and all it provides.

I got this to cut the cord from cable tv. I dont have any issues other than cost but compared to Google chromecast, less tiling and pixelating.

Just glad to have a system that actually works compared to my older one I had. Only downside is the remote has a very huge and annoying Netflix button that is very easy to accidentally push.

We were excited when we got it but it crashed frequently, particularly with simple games (i.e. not 3D). Nvidia support was pretty quick to get us a new one, so that speaks volumes about their service, which was very good. The new one still has an issue where if you use the power control on the Shield remote, it causes the sound not to work. It's important to make sure the TV is on first, then turn on the Shield. From online forums, it seems this is a common issue, but it is just an annoyance. Otherwise it works as advertised with great navigation and app support.

This is an awesome box. You can play retro games with this box.

This device USED TO BE awesome. I even ended up buying two more because IT WAS one of the best media streaming devices out there for the price; but unfortunately, IT'S NOT ANY MORE! The latest update ruined it. Google now pumps it full of ads. The sound and display settings are worse on all of them (two connected directly to the TV, and the third to an A/V receiver). Nvidia took a great device and ruined it (just Google the recent reviews after the update from about a week ago and you'll see). Hopefully Nvidia will release an update to fix it in the future (but very unlikely). If they do, then it's definitely worth 5 stars; but, until that unlikey day comes, don't waste your money on this device and find yourself something else!!

The shield met my expectations of a quality product. Set up was painless. The range of adjustable features was impressive. The sleek design is certainly value added.

Does everything I need for a streaming device. It is very powerful and plays videos very smoothly. Love streaming game aspect as well. Worth every penny!

nice NVIDIA SHIELD. This is my 2nd one. Only wish that Geforce would work better with the Game creators to so NVIDIA Shield users can install games on the console itself again.

Only thing I haven’t tried is the Plex server because I already have a dedicated pc for that. Everything else has been great!

Works but not worth what i paid for it. The cheaper ones work just as good
