I've used a lot of different android based tv devices and can say without a doubt that the nvidia shield is the best, bar none!!

Used to use a G-Box to watch videos on. all the lag was driving me crazy. This has stopped all the lag. videos are playing perfect now. Load with Android.

this is my second device,1st one lasted 5years great device gets job done in streaming. would recommend.

NVIDIA SHIELD PRO - Excellent Small Media Player. No Complaints. Had the FireTV Cube and after 2 yrs, it got caught in a startup loop after one of their updates. Switched to the NVIDIA Shield Pro to avoid those problems and not waste more money. So far it has been very good, no problems at all.

Great product that allows for Dolby Atmos on Tidal music. This is the only product that does this. Also Atmos and 4K on most of your apps.

Pros great 4k scaling Geforce now is better than most game streaming products Google assistant is better than on most smart TV's Cons That price is definitely a problem. $199 for streaming is a tough pill to swallow

This is my second Shield Pro and have one in two different rooms of my house. The best streaming device you can own if you want the best.

I like the speed performance of the new pro nvidia . Remote is very convenient only which I can incorporate the mouse pointer on it like the older version.

Very high quality streamer with many customisable settings for audio, video and gaming as well.

The shield streamer is a great product! My experience with this is way different from Roku. Roku has an app I would like that the shield doesn't support. Also the shield started to act up way sooner. It's more costly than others. Would recommend but get the two year geek squad protection.

This is an awesome streaming device. Ive been looking at these for some time now. Much better than using the built-in apps on the tv.

Picked this up as an upgrade to the 2017 Nvidia shield. It has worked pretty well. The only real question is whether the non-Plex apps are actually as good/better on this than the ones built-in to my tv.

Hands down the best streaming device in the world! Superb performance and some! Do yourself a favor and just buy it already!

The best of the best.. dont buy any other box this is all you need 4k, AI, Dobly sound... trust me there isn't any other box like this..

Bought this as a replacement for my 2017 Pro Nvidia Shield. Love the smaller size, however, I wish the internal storage was more than 16GB as standard, 128GB at least. Also wished it had IR port for use with universal remotes. The biggest con is that it has a softer image compared to the native tv apps on my LG C9 OLED. Lots of people have noticed this same issue. I had the same issue on the 2017 shield. Was hoping the new one would have fixed it. Mainly use this device for playing plex rips and use the tv apps for everything else. Would move to Apple TV but that doesn't bitstream audio anymore.

I’ve owned the shield pro twice. I’ve also returned it twice. It just doesn’t hold a candle to the Apple TV. Yes you can decode more audio formats with the shield pro, but that’s about all you can do that you can’t on an Apple TV. The Apple TV beats it out in all important categories: ease of use, app availability, and remote (new version). While I owned it I experience lagging, UI glitches, freeze ups…all things I’ve never experienced on my Apple TV.

Smooth operation. Good storage unlike GoogleTV dongle. I am still trying to set up options, etc.

Nvidia is great streaming!! I finally have Prime again, which I didn't on MIBox. Set up is simple. And the system is faster. And the price is great!
