Loving the SHIELD!

My only reason for switching to the NVIDIA SHIELD was to have access to more data storage and other enhancements the SHIELD has that the Fire Stick can't offer for it's price. I hesitated to switch to the SHIELD because of it's price compared to the Fire Stick. Now I'm happy I switched! I connected a 1TB external HD to the SHIELD in order to store some recordings. It works great! I'm sold on the NVIDIA SHIELD.

Lacks hdr+ conversion like the apple tv but supports all loseloss audio formats. If you have movie rips then this is the tv streamer for you.

Nvidia Shield Anbdroid box

Also was have problems with stick heating up & having to unplug them wait for awhile then plug back in to get them to work. Not so with this box. No issues at all. Well worth the money.

NVIDIA - SHIELD Android TV Pro - 16GB - 4K HDR Str

You can also download many apps and use an external drive for video files, which is something many streaming drives don't have the capability to do.
