System is extremely capable, but Android can be a bit finicky ya know? Some random freezes but overall better than any other streaming platform.

Great set top box

Much smoother than regular android boxes, but I would like the option for an air mouse on the remote, or the option to add a remote keyboard for searches, etc.

I am not an avid hard core gamer but I play for fun. Nvidia Shield has a wide variety of compatible android apk's and it has enough power and ram to support subscribed media providers HD streaming. AI capable Upscaling to 4K if you have the internet bandwidth for it. It also runs a PLEX Media server at my house backed by a movie filled WD MycloudEx2Ultra NAS.

Yes. But you can even play games on this thing. A controller can be used. Out of all the streaming decks and TVs I've ever used. This is the fastest operating system and loading times out of any of them!
