This is the newest version of the Shield that has upscaling and a voice remote. It's great as a media player or for streaming games.

I’ve been disappointed with the built in apps on my game consoles and my TV, so I purchased this. So far it hasn’t disappointed. It also allowed me to do direct HDMI pass through with Plex, which most media players can’t do (I believe AppleTV is the only other one that can). The only thing lacking is HDR in the YouTube app, but there’s always hope for future updates. One thing that was curious, the gaming on this (GeForce now) was heavily promoted and all over the main screen, but it appears to only be available in beta and can’t be purchased. I requested a beta invitation and never heard anything back, so it doesn’t seem right that this is promoted like it is. Otherwise, totally satisfied.

My Nvidia Shield is working as advertised so far. It has wonderful upscaling.... I am impressed. Best buy made it simple to buy online and pickup in store. Overall excellent service.

Great device for streaming, Plex, and streaming games. A few quirks and bugs, but officer a great device.

This was exactly what I needed to replace my Roku. Its faster and has better picture, works great with my Youtube TV subscription.

This is an interesting device, and it works well. The technology in it is a little older, and I was hoping to enjoy gaming with it, but it just doesn't have the power I needed for that purpose. I was surprised by how small it is. It's very slim, and it connected to our network easily. I felt as though it was a little slow to respond to remote commands, and it wasn't as smooth playing videos as our AppleTV. Not a bad device, but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for streaming either especially given its price point.

Pros: Very nice streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime Cons: I bought it for Gamestream and Steam Link. Neither worked. Gamestream wouldn't ever work in Geforce Experience and Steam link would connect and seem to work but no picture on the TV. I'm running a RTX 3080/ I9 9900k with a Nice $400 Nighthawk router. I'm fully updated on everything. Been building computers since 1998. It's the Sheild. For $200 I'm not trouble shooting out of the box,

Got rid of all the firestick/chromecast, stuff and consolidated to this. Best choice - better experience

We at D3vicx.co have these coming and going none stop. Nvidia Shield Tv Pro is the best device in the world on the Market right now. Still beating out even the New 2021 Apple TV. You can download Movies and Tv Series to the device directly and then put them on a USB to carry over to your laptop when you are on a tip. The things you can do with this Nvidia Shield Tv Pro is amazing and feels like it's endless as well.

perfect for streaming. Will not crash and works with 3rd party apps. Also the controller works with tvs and soundbar

Speedier than Roku, also slight improvement with AI upscaling. Haven't used gaming yet but it's nice to have that option.
