Better Navigation

I press for a letter or number and it slides to one different from what I wanted. the shield needs to be more accurate.

If you’re looking for a way to cut out or disable Dolby vision and your tvs factory settings don’t allow for it, this is the answer.

But Nvidia was smart enough to allow the shield to have multiple apps open so you tend not to lose your spot

Still the Champ

I have 5 of these devices total (2015, 2017 and now 2019 models) and they are the best. All still work flawlessly and have amazing software support from NVIDIA even on the 6 year old model.

It's an easy fix by just increasing volume on TV higher to accomodate the lower shield volume settings.

Supports videos from external drive

In my opinion its hands down the best streamer/cable box. It does way more. Especially if your have a plex server. Only reason I gave it 4* instead of 5* is that its still $200. Just like 2019.

I do strongly suggest you add a RAVPower SSD pro... it beefs it up even more... loving the picture enhancement and Atmos, DTSX capabilities... a must have!!!

If you have a plex server and don’t want to mess with having built your own. Then this is the one for you. It was okay. But I returned it because it was useless to me and it just gave me another remote to keep track of. I mean, if you don’t have a smart tv. This would actually be a great tool.
