Almost Perfect

Extremely fast, Can passthrough audio/video to receiver with no problems. Tried first gen but kept crashing all the time but this one has been solid and the remote seems better.

I can even expand the memory which is convenient.

Get the other Sheild

The only thing I personally didn't like was it was a bit expensive for what it does. Your better off with the le as s expensive Shield that plays everything you can thing of.

You can also plug usb devices into it and it will play your media. Some of the other brands have a hard time keeping up and get choppy, the video is smooth on the shield.

I would purchase again if needed.

Only issue is that it should have had more internal memory. There days 16 GB is nothing. You will definitely need some external storage especially if you have plans to run Plex.

I am knocking one star off because of the navigation menu. It is not quite as polished as the Roku's that I have used before. But overall, this is a nice product. It just does not knock my socks off.
