    Terribly overprices for its functionality. The "AI-enhanced" resolution makes the picture quality look MUCH worse especially when watching sports. You can get the Google Chromecast and get the same functionality for much cheaper.

    This used to be a great way to stream videos from all of my different streaming services, as well as my plex server. With the latest update from google the discover UI has found a way to shove ads onto the home screen user interface. It takes up over half of my screen and there is no way to turn this off. I can no longer recomend this device as the best.

    When it's working correctly it's great. However it regularly drops the hdmi signal and I'm using an audioquest cable, not cheap or under spec'd for the application, and I did verify the direction of the cable. The shield has to turned off and back on to fix this. The other issue is the remote has unpaired itself a few times now. For $200 these are issues that shouldn't be happening, especially with how mature the shield tv pro should be now after several years of production
