I can stream any show and movie I want, I can cast my PC to my TV flawlessly, and it does everything lightning fast, all things I wasn't able to do with my old Xbox One S. Probably a lot more you can do with this streaming device, but the experience is so smooth and fast that just these 2 things alone make it worth the price.

4K HDR, Dolby Vision/Atmos, AI upscaling that actually works, Plex server beast, GeForce Now 4080-tier cloud gaming at 120fps, zero lag. Fast, future-proof, and rock-solid after years. Worth every penny.

The NVidia Shield TV Pro has made cutting the cord so much easier and less stressful! Having been a long-time (over twenty year) subscriber to Dish Network cutting the cord was something that came up for consideration with each and every annual rate increase. We were often held back by the large amount of recorded content stored on the DVR's hard drive. Well thanks to the pandemic and the shutdown of most all productions we managed to burn through all recorded content and began turning more and more toward online content. It was at that point where we came to realize that we could drop Dish Network in favor of YouTube TV, keep local and 90 percent of our regularly viewed channels all while saving nearly fifty percent on our monthly bill! The NVidia Shield TV has been an absolute pleasure, with the ability to install nearly any available streaming application. YouTube TV HBO Max YouTube iHeart Radio Pandora Amazon Prime Video VUDU ...and so much more! There are games, music, & weather apps all at the press of a button, and setup was a breeze. The 4K UHD video combined with Crystal clear multichannel audio (including Dolby Atmos some on supported apps) is a massive improvement over and above Dish Network, and the small footprint of the NVidia Shield TV device takes up less space, uses less energy (due to it being 100% solid state i.e. no moving parts)! The NVidia Shield TV supports Google's Chromecast for sharing content directly from a mobile device, it has Google assistant built in for quick and easy voice control, and has the ability to connect with my home's Google Home speaker system for whole-house audio!

I purchased the NVIDIA - SHIELD Android TV Pro - 16GB - 4K HDR Streaming Device with Google Assistant and GeForce NOW - Black and still believe this streaming/gaming device to be the best in it's class, while remaining affordable.

I love my Nvidia Shield TV Pro ~ In the past I've purchased the Fire Stick , Fire TV Cube and MIBOX but the best out of all of them was the Nvidia Shield TV Pro ~ Take my advice if you don't have the money right now save and be happy of the purchase instead of regretting the decision 2 or 3 months down the line of one of the other purchases

I bought for my bedroom,I had a Amazon Fire TV Cube in my bedroom and it was not getting a good connection,It kept going offline,I said enough is enough,I did my research on Nvidia Shield,Its a powerful small streaming box.I love it has great 4K resolution and i am getting another one for my living room.I definitely recommend anyone who is getting of their cable to get the Nvidia Shield Pro,I give this streaming box 5 star and rating 5.0 for performance and everything it delivers,Worth the money.

This is my second Shield TV device, incredible streaming tool that replaces TV software when it stops being updated by the manufacturer. I use on my Sharp and Panasonic TV's seemless integration with TV, AV Receivers and sound bar systems. Obtained base from e-Bay.

Nvidia Shield Pro (2019) It's 2024 and it is still the best streaming device in the market. Effectively a mainstay of most home theater setups. More than capable of running a customized Kodi build with the added benefit of AI upscaling. Only con that I can think of is the Netflix button on the remote. The AI upscaling in medium does a wonderful job of upscaling 1080p to 4k without creating harsh edges. At 150" it really is the only option for streaming 1080p content while maintaining a native really look. AppleTV 4k is a close second with a sleeker native interface and a more premium chassis build, but it just doesn't have the upscaling capability or the level of customization available to the shield pro. I would only consider the Apple at smaller screen sizes, like 85" and below. And even then it comes down to whether or not you want the level of application freedom the Android based shield pro provides.

This is my 3rd shield tv device. Thjs is hands-down the best performing media streaming device 2nd to none. My last one died after 3 years of use, and served its purpose well. I like that it has 4k capability and a ethernet port for a hardwired connection, as well, as 2 usb connection on the back. Its small size and allows you to install this with double sided 3M take to the back of your wall mounted tv, or in any audio cabinet or closet. I like that these van be controlled with logitech harmony remote. This shield tv is a must have for cord cutters.

still good even though its five years old upscalling is very good does make alot of streaming content look much better but a little pricey

I like manycut cableba few years ago. I mainly used firesticks but had issues with buffering and loosing internet connection. At the end of 2019 i purchased this device for my main tv and has been beyond pleased with its performance and quality. I thought of the long term investment and ditched the firestick for my 2nd tv and made this purchase in Dec 2020. Im glad i did and would highly recommend anyone that cut cable or simply looking for a streaming device to go with this quality device over a cheap product.

Best media center and streaming device on the market. Super powerful yo handle a wide range of formats. Comes with a plex server built in. Excellent speed and processing power. Remote pairs up with TV very easily.

this is the only device i use for TV has everything you need and more. Well buit easy to setup new remote is better the previous i have the older version for the game room and this unit is for the family room.

I hardly write reviews, but for this thing I had to Nvidia Shield Pro is 100% the best Android tv box ever made I love it a lot. I’ve had Apple TV, I’ve had fire stick & so many different Android boxes this exceeds all of them. Speed is great, 4K movies, tv shows, live tv, the game graphics are basically as good as a PS4. Honestly the best.

I have had 4 different "brands" of streaming boxes by far this one has been the fastest , clearest pictures and honestly i have had it a for weeks and feel i have a long way to learn to use it to it's full capacity.

I am extremely impressed with the Ai Upscaling! So glad that I learned about this product online! It blows away the internal processor on my 75” Sony X900h. I wasn’t happy with the clarity of the tv itself but when I added the Nvidia Shield TV Pro it made lower quality video POP! Watching older shows look so vivid now.

The Nvidia Shield Pro is fast for streaming 4K video and games. It’s easy to set up and connect. It’s small and compact so it fits anywhere.

Upgraded from a 2015 Shield Tv. The AI 4K Upscaling is outstanding on my Samsung Q80 with, believe it or not, tv streaming services like Sling TV! Also, the remote is great and is able to control my A/V receiver and TV. Solid purchase even though it's priced on the high end.
