Not a fan. If I could return the NVIDIA I would, but it pass the time limit do I am stuck with it.

This box is pretty much compatible with everything. With the availability of apps, it can handle many tasks.

I would give this ZERO STARS if I could. EVERY TIME you turn it off, it will NOT find your PLEX server the next time you start it up and then you spend about 2 hours trying to get your server to connect again. VERY BIG WASTE OF TIME. It's not the PLEX app because I had it running on my computer for YEARS and never had a server issue. I've had this piece of crap for 3 days, had to delete everything and start over again 2 times. If you want to watch movies on your hard drive, just save yourself some time and plug the hard drive directly into the back of the TV.

You want the best streaming box with great interface. This is it. I own 3 of them all work perfectly.

Just a disaster of a experience, Paid for same-day shipping for a birthday, didnt receive it until the next day afternoon, was never refunded my shipping money i paid, and customer service tried to get me to drive 20miles just to talk to a manager in store for store credit even though im handicap and only order online. Just a horrible experience overall

It doesn't support HDR through youtube, nor the new youtube codecs which may also trickle down to other services. As nice as some of the features were, for my use case it was not nearly worth the 200 dollar entry fee. The killer app for this device was supposed to be the AI upscaling, but I sort of noticed lower native quality using this box than the built in apps on my tv, then the upscaler brought it more in line with my tvs built in processing. Very odd, and in my opinion, not worth the money.

This Navi shield is the best streaming device I have ever used, great processor and lots of memory

I am going back to my firestick. Almost every app buffers anr im tired of it. My internet is fine. It worked perfectly fine with my firestick but wanted more memory

I tried a dozen or more setup instru tions to no avail for various reasons. Both my cell phone and the shield were on the same wifi but wouldn't talk to each other. It is over my head!

Bought this bcuz I heard lots of good things about it but it did not work with my yamaha receiver. Dolby atmos and vision had lots of problems and Android TV interface is horrible.

Save your money. I bought this hoping it would be better than my Roku, but not so much. This thing is plagued with issues. I finally removed it today. $200 up the in smoke.

Only works in theory. You're right to suspect a lot of lag, a lot of glitches, and TRUELY PATHETIC internet support from the Shield TV Pro. That's exactly what you'll get. NVIDIA support is P A T H E T I C! They will ask you for the genetic code of your 87th clone before they get to the "Is it plugged in" tier support you can only get from someone who knows you're out of options if you're shopping for this. Geforce Now doesn't work. Gamestream from my PC doesn't work well. This is a very expensive brick and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE.

Do not recommend this at all will not turn certain tvs on or off I have all LG and one Sony

Did not work properly. Kept shutting down my TV and causing other issues.

I really wanted to like the shield tv pro tv pro or whatever asinine trademarked product this is. When a product requires force stopping an app to get it to show up in Google home; it's not a good product. Additionally I shouldn't have restart a live stream multiple times in order to watch a live stream... Back to Google Chromecast TV (ir whatever its called) because at lwast it works.

The Shield had its own user interface but has since been replaced with Google ads that make it look more like NASCAR than TV. Wish I could return it. The UI change has completely ruined the experience.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Trust me, do your research, Google has downgraded this device and forced very annoying ads to take over the screen as if this is a low cost budget streaming device. If you want a high end premium streaming device Apple TV is the only option left. I own both devices and the Apple is flawless compared to nvidia. All streaming apps are better executed on the Apple as well.

This was the best streaming device for several years running. As of June 2021, an update to the latest "Google TV" home screen now forces unwanted advertisements on all devices. This is a material change to the product, and Nvidia refuses to restore traditional behavior or give an option to disable the advertisements. Do not buy.

Piece of junk! Have old one and it has been great, this new one I can't even get YOU TUBE - I keep getting NETWORK ERROR- . I tried to get help from NVidia and all they did was jerk me around, now I'm past the return date for BEST BUY. I really liked my old one, I still have it and it works fine, but Nvidia's "SUPPORT" SUCKS!!!!!!!! I mentioned in passing I couldn't get CHROME along with other apps and they made my whole complaint about not getting CHROME TOTALLY BLOWING ME OFF-TWICE!!!!!
