Shield is still the best streaming box since 2015.

I used this to replace my old Steam Link box and I was completely unprepared for how well this worked. Streaming from my PC to the TV through the Shield TV Pro via NVidia GameStream is such a vastly superior solution over Steam Link. Additionally you can stream over Moonlight if GameStream isn't doing it for you. Thus far I haven't been able to pick out which method is better, since they're both incredibly good and a MASSIVE leap over Steam Link.

Best Android TV device next to the Shield Pro. Great performance and great remote.

I use it for streaming and it’s perfect. Easy to use and configure. This remote is much better than the old model.

I already had the previous version with the game controller. Never actually used the game controller. I needed a second one for my other TV. I can't really tell the difference in my usage from this one and the old one as far as performance. The remote on this one is much better, I actually had to get a replacement unit from Best Buy as the first one the remote would not light up. I love that fact that I can easily control my tv with the remote (the volume and power)

I purchased a used one of these awhile back and really liked it. They are a bit pricey in comparison to other products on the market, but these integrate with my smart home better so for me the price is worth it. I have played 4k movies on this and they play with no issues. I've done it both wireless and wired. I always suggest wired though when streaming content as it is more reliable. I plan to purchase another one of these once my new home office is setup.

Streams all of the major services plus works as game machine and media server.

Rock solid android tv, connected 1 tb samsung ssd as internal storage and 14 tb wd external drive as external, both work flawlessly. internet is connected via ethernet cable and navigation and streaming content is butter smooth. Remote can be configured with ios for extra comfort. with smb protocol i can move my media downloaded from internet to the plex server using my windows computer (great media streaming device). The fastest Android tv box you can get right now. I upgraded from a Roku Ultra and it was a big improvement. The interface is nice and smooth. Apps load fast. Scrolling speed through SlingTV, Disney+, Netflix is amazingly fast. I could never go back to another box. Powerful enough to game. Was able to try a few games using Geforce Now. The price is a little pricey at $199 but nothing else compares.

Easy setup and easy to use. By far the best media streaming device I've ever used. Better than any smart tv, roku, or chromecast. I also use it to stream games from my pc and it works perfectly. Overall it's main use is for the Kodi app. I like to copy my movies over to my hard drive so I don't need the disk and the Kodi app works better on this device than any pc I have it on. Own two of these because of how much I love it.

This is my second purchase of the Shield Pro, this time for a recently purchased Roku TV in a bedroom. Suffice to say that it's a HUGE improvement over the Roku software. It just works and the upscaling is an added bonus.

I have pretty much every popular streaming media box there is. The Nvidia shield is my streamer of choice. I love the quick, snappy response of the unit and this new remote made my favorite media device even better. Friends that visit me and see me playing games on my TV assume I’m on a dedicated game console and are blown away when I tell them it’s the Shield and the game service is free. It’s significantly more expensive than a Roku but offers more capabilities.

Does everything well. Up conversion is one of it's greatest features and works as advertised.

Dated but UI is great and streaming is Flawless! Firestick is nothing comparable.

Great device for streaming you favorite channels like amazon video, Netflix, Disney+ And many others. It also lets you play pc games on your living room TV. It Mirrors my PC with a Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU and it runs games in 4K on the living room TV. So awesome! The only con I would say is i wish I didn’t have to buy the Nvidia gaming controller separate because it feels like a good price point if it included it.

Perfect size, easy to navigate, downloads are easy. Streaming is the best in this Nvidia.

I have held off buying the Nvidia Shield for a long time. Price was my main reason for waiting. They have since dropping the price and I finally purchased the Shield. Best Android device for streaming in my opinion. Very nice interface and great speed. It will pair nicely with my LG G1 77” television and my Marantz Receiver completing my home theater setup. Very pleased so far.
