Roku Killer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Shield. Best streamer out there especially with the games included. Remote is easy & has great range. My Shield is hung on the wall behind my flatscreen. Never a problem with range. Has all the Apps plus ones you’ve never heard of. I have Apple TV, Roku, Google Chromecast, PS5 & new Xbox. Shield better than all for streaming media. Xbox close second

It’s probably overkill
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for the sole reason I Wanted to play Stardew valley with someone multiplayer while having full screen viewing on both devices. It does that beautifully, as well as many other things like Netflix Hulu Disney+, and other games can be streamed using the steam link app.

Great Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the nvidia shield tv 2017 version. I wasn't sure if this is worth to upgrade, but I'm happy now. 1. The remote controller is a lot better. (especially the audio control) 2. The AI 4k upscale works better than I expected. 3. The sleep mode works better than the old version with my TV<->AV Receiver<->nVidia Shield TV I'm sure that this is the best streaming box.

Amazing streaming box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a long time purchaser of streaming boxes, I've owned multiple WD TVs, Apple TVs, and other similar boxes. The Nvidia Shield TV PRO blows all of these other boxes out of the water. The interface is an absolute pleasure to use. The AI upscaling makes things really sharp. The UI is smooth and quick, and I'm a big fan of Android TV in general. Overall would highly recommend this product!

Perfect media platform
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will receive updates for years unlike many other Android TV devices. If you are running a PLEX server for your movies/tv shows, then this is a must purchase. It can transcode pretty much every video/audio format including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

It' okay, not groundbreaking, not worth 200.00
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's okay, if you were maybe doing some light gaming, video is okay, and the unit seems to need to be unplugged every once in a while, as it locks up, network port failed, wi-fi is okay when it works, it drops connection when high end wi-fi router sitting 20 feet away in plain sight, I never had this issue with my Fire cube from Amazon it's over priced maybe if it had like more system ram like 8 or 16 and more storage, why do these companies thing 2 or 4 gigs of ram is enough, but yet our cellphones have so much more.

Game Changer (if you utilize all its capabilities)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first bought this, many of my friends asked what was wrong with my TV’s native OS. The answer was nothing, but the Nvidia Shield offered more. Much more. Basic users will appreciate the excellent 4K upscaling (it’s actually incredible) and plethora of optimized apps (Access to a majority of Google Play Store). The real benefit of this device is its seemless integration, hardware compatibility and PC game streaming capabilities. This device practically automatically adopted native control over my TV and soundbar so that I only have to use one remote for all my devices. It also recognizes every keyboard, Bluetooth device and game controller that I’ve connect. Speaking of gaming, the access to GeForce Now is great for streaming games if you don’t have a PC, and you can install emulators from the Play Store to play older games. In addition, if you have a PC with an Nvidia graphics card, you can stream from your PC with low lag and high quality picture. The price seems pretty steep for a “streaming box”. But that’s not really a good way to describe this device. It’s ultimately a multi-platform connectivity device that brings your daily TV and gaming experience to the next level.

The best!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product. I switched from Firesticks and Roku. Android boxes offer so many more options. This box is so easy to customize. It comes with plenty of storage but is expandable. I have a separate hard drive hooked to it which helps for a Plex server. It is on the costly side but I think is well worth it. I also purchased the tube version for my other TV's.

A useful upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nvidia Shield TV Pro processor is an excellent streamer. It supports 4K, HDR, DolbyVision and gaming. The AI upscaling processor is an excellent addition and a good differentiator from other streamers. The only complaint I have that keeps it from getting a perfect score from me is it doesn't support HDR in YouTube- an oversight that I hope NVIDIA will correct in a firmware update.

A Solid media server
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We really liked the finish and quality of the materials. It was easy to connect and set-up with my home theater system. The 4K video and audio quality was superb with a quick response. My main reason to purchase was to connect my in-house media server to be able to view home videos, listen to music and pictures. The Plex app worked quite well but have not figured out how to play a folder full of videos. Research on going. The remote is a bit odd but one can get used to it.

Best Streaming Device Out There
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mainly to serve as a Plex Server but it's become my absolute favorite streaming device on my home theater. Nvidia puts out constant updates and the apps are quick and responsive. Highly recommend to anyone - far better than any 'Smart' TV software out there.
