So far so good. Only using this for streaming apps currently. I have not used Geforce Now yet. Response time is very quick and Dolby Vision is working just fine.

This is the Best Android TV box in the market...I'm so glad I bought it. I can now play games with this device...I don't need a gaming console to play games!!! Also watch Movies and TV...Its an All in one Entertainment center!

Best media for playing 4k plex media and other streaming services, better than apple, Roku, fire stick google tv etc. I have them all and I still use shield tv for all my media, never struggles and never freezes

works great! note that to use DV, you might need to upgrade your HDMI cable. I do wish there was a quick way to "clone" your settings/apps when upgrading from 1 shield to another. The remote is much better than the old one.

It's not my favorite interface... In fact I would rather just use my Roku TV. That said it's one of the only products that offers a gigabit Ethernet port which is great for local Streaming.

This is the media player to get. The AI upscaling is so awesome and all streaming services that offer Dolby Atmos audio work well with no issues

Easier to use than the last version. I've used ROKU for years and years, but I really like this version. PLUS ... you can get Peacock and HBO Max on this device and NOT on ROKU.

This is an upgrade from a Nexxus player. Easy to connect to the TV and add Apps. Takes a bit of time to set them up but once done TV works faster. Picture is clearer. Remote lights up and is easy to work. I have no issues!

Not cheap, but it plays back the large movie files that the Shield tube stutters on. An essential add-on despite already having Android TV built into my Sony TV. The lost remote option has come in handy once or twice, also!

I had google chrome cast with google tv 4k and i had bought two at different times die on me recently. Audio issues, turning off randomly, slow load times, ect. The thing was, i didnt know it was that bad till i got the shield tv. I honestly figured every android tv box was like that. This is by far worth the money vs the chrome cast. Youtube guys are paid to say the chromecast w/google tv its on par with the shield, its no where close. Just know this has the same cpu as a nintendo switch and has plenty of ram and ssd to make the experience very snappy. Get the nvidia shield, dont bother with google hardware.

I have had one of these in my living room for a few years now. I needed something for my basement for a while. I did not have second thoughts about what that streaming box would be. This is it! It is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Definitely the best streaming device available, but: Way too expensive for what you get. Lots of features you would never use. Best customization since its stock Google TV, but still not enough customization. Faster then all the rest, but still not as fast as it should be for the price.

The device itself is very cool, works well, easy to setup, works in harmony with my Smart TV, and has a lot of value to me. However, I would not buy this from Best Buy, as they always, always have some kind of issue with their website, with their delivery, with their support, or whatever it is. Go elsewhere for your devices.
