This unit is super sleek and easily hideable. This blows away the competitions sticks with ample ram to stop buffering. The gaming portion is awesome. The extra controller saved you 50 bucks, where other consoles really dig into your pocket.

Things awesome. Works great for streaming Kodi....Just download Kodi from the app store...And your good to go. Im not much of a gamer so I can't give much info about that. I bought it to stream and it blows away the fire TV stick.

I bought this product after looking lot of positive Reviews. Installed around 13 games Pro: For games that support game controller it is really awesome. Almost same quality like my Xbox. I like Kodi app. Cons: out of 13 games controller did not working for 6 games. no action when i click game controller. very limited games with controller support.

This thing is great. I replaced a Roku 3 with this. I play movies that I ripped onto a Synology server. With the Roku there is always a 10 second wait as it buffers and usually one other buffer episode within the first few minutes of playing a high def movie. With the Nvidia Shield there is NO buffering time. It plays right away. It also accesses Vudu, and when you sideload a browser you get full access to the internet. You can even hook up a wireless mouse and keyboard to this. I just wish they could get an app so I can watch Amazon Prime. I keep my Roku hooked up for the times I watch Amazon. It also seems like they are intent on this becoming your one-stop streamer for cutting the cord. It seems like as time goes on they will continue to add apps to fill out the functionality.

We love this product can watch movies, listen to music and watch videos, play games this product is great way better than the amazon stick. It's definitely payed for itself!

the android TV box is wonderful. I can do everything I want on it

I was looking for a media player that would play all my Blu Ray backups and the Shield does it great ....i use SPMC Kodi to stream my movies and the Shield supports DTS-HD & Dolby Tru HD sound ...also has very nice game play

Color and clarity transfers perfectly to my extra large monitor.

I bought it for my grandson who is four years old but it is a little advance for him and I cannot return it to get him something else.

The shield is the fastest most complete android device of 2015.

Competes well with xbox and ps4 but not as many games yet. But for the price it has an advantage and the games are very entertaining.

I can do anything with this wonder: watch the movies on my network drive, play my PC games on my LED TV, broadcast from my phone directly to it, among a lot of amazing features. Definitely worth the purchase.

This replaced my Nexus Player that would always crash. The SHIELD has not crashed once and having built in Ethernet has made streaming movies so much better. Streaming games from my computer has been great too.

This is the most feature rich streamer you can buy. Plus, if you have a computer with an Nvidia graphics card, you can stream games from your computer to the Shield and play them on your TV.

Prior to purchasing,, we had firestick and we had to reprogram it at least once a month. Not with shield. Comes with games and more, we get to watch movies, includes netflix and hulu and live sports.
