i was using amazon fire tv but this is 100% better

This is by far the most advanced smart tv device on the market. Has chrome cast built in as a bonus. Enough processing power to stream all 16 of my home security cameras which are 3mp each. You won't find another device that can do that. Also doesn't require a mobile device to run it like Apple TV, chromecast and roku. Spend your money on something you won't have to replace in6 months. Buy a shield.

I purchased this primarily as a streaming client for Nas media and a lodi box. It works flawlessly. I am going to purchase 2 more for other rooms in the house to be able to watch movies on any tv.

Streams everything I can throw at it, Netflix, YouTube, local .mkv files on my NAS and all look great. Plays games too, good selection of Android games and I can stream from my PC in 1080p @ 60 FPS.

I got it and I absolutely loved it, it did everything I wanted to. However most games I tried to play on it had a slight lag. Hardly noticeable but when playing the game I could not get the games to pause without hitting the home button. The pause button wouldn't work. Other than that great buy.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she is on it all of the time either playing games or watching movies. The addition of the plex server with the latest update is great.

Apps, Games, 4K Movies & TV plus Voice internet searches, This is the one that Has It All. You don't need a degree in Rocket Sci to get the full use of everything the Shield offers.

Between the NVDIA Shield and my HDHomeRun, I have been able to effective cut the cord for cable TV.

I bought the apple tv and it was not able to do any features that i wanted i returned it and got this and boom i love it super powerful and does anything u can imagine

I bought this to use to watch tv with. Works great with Kodi for watching tv and movies. Extremely fast and easy to use. Great buy if you're looking to cut the cord.

I own 2x Firestick and a MI box and this is handsdown the fastest of most reliable. Even games and the game controller are a bonus. Playstore access for many apps.

I am impressed with the ability of my Nvidia Shield in many ways. It is ergonomic and well designed with very high performance specs. It is well worth the price.

Have had this device for a month now and use it every single day for streaming, will soon be exploring its game playing features which I have heard is amazing.

This is a great media player, especially if you have your own library of media. Now with the addition of Plex Media Server, the Shield went from Great to Super Fantastic. Available apps are getting better, though if you are stuck in the Apple ecosystem, you may not have access to all of your movies. Music can be accessed through the Google Play upload service. The one thing I wish this had is an optical outlet or an audio out port to take advantage of the Dolby Surround Sound.

I use this box for my kodi and it is by far the fastest and best looking than any other box. I used the nexus for a while but it was too slow. This is the box to get

It's a great device to have. I'm glad we bought this. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know what this can do. That's why we purchased two of them.

I love the graphics the applications the speed of it. I would recommend this to anyone especially those who won great graphics in the good Wi-Fi connection

Powerful, fast, awesome..... in no particular order. Don't hassle with slow devices, time buffering is time wasted. Get more out of life, get the shield.

This is an all in one device. Best output for sound and video. Does so much more than was asked of it. It's a game machine too. Limitless possibilities
