The shield can do anything you want. Add-ons for the kodi app will entertain for hours. There are tons of free games to play and the controller is great. This little box does so well at everything. I would rate it the best entertainment system on the market

I bought for my girlfriend and little cousins. So far they have all enjoyed it the device/media player. The kids love the game aspect of the device and my girlfriend enjoying the media. Also a plus no jailbreaking required to completely enjoy the device.

This is a very powerful system and it may have everything you need in a streaming box specially a future proof one.

I was up until 0:300 setting this thing up and I am still not done. This is not because it is hard to do or anything., its just that there is so much content available to you. I absolutely love it. I could not be happier thus far with this product.

The Shield TV is an awesome piece of hardware. It was already the best Android TV around, and probably worth it just for that. After the recent update it gained the ability to be a Plex Server with transcoding. This made it a must buy for me.

I have a Roku 2, 3, Apple TV 32GB 4th Gen, and Amazon Fire Stick. So far this is my go to device for streaming movies and playing games! The game controller works perfectly and the remote control with the voice recognition is a plus!

I purchased this from my local BB and the experience was freat. I was able to connect , update and begin using this device all within 30 mins. I may purchase another one as a gift.

its worth the money. there is a google play app u can rent 4k movies , 4k netflix, snd youtube 4k videos. its cool and its an android that needs some updates when brand new out of the box. u need an ethernet cable for the 4k streaming.

This is a great system and by far the most comprehensive streaming device available. Have a bunch of new tvs and I would return them and buy all these if I could. 4K, HDR, gaming support and allows you to download KODI. Must have

I bought this box mainly for kodi and I am happy that I purchased. It runs so smooth on all the apps. It's a quick set up to install also. On top of that the games runs good on this little box. Overall I'm happy with it.

I am a high end, heavy feature, push it to the limits kind of user. This thing has not skipped a beat! Simply amazing. Great for Plex! It even maintained functionality for local files when the internet was offline.

The video play on this is very nice. It has allot of apps you can download and the gaming is fun as well. Hope you enjoy as much as me. I already have an amazon fire box, stick, ps4 and smart tv. I use this daily.

If you are a gamer looking to play or stream games from an OTT device, it doesn't get much better than this, however... it seems there's many Android apps that are not supported for Android TV devices such as the Shield. A problem shared with my Sony TVs that use Android TV. Otherwise happy with my Shield.

Very lacking,over priced Netflix machine, has potential

I bought this to act as my Plex media server (and remote access), and it has been awesome for that. Mixed with Kodi, and my lite video game needs, this device was well worth the price. The Android TV UI still needs to mature, but I'm happy with what I got.

This is the best media player ever with all the power. Having the Google power behind it makes it all that better.

Best investment for entertainment. Better than amazon fire tv, roku, apple tv, all those platforms. this is the best option, the best specs. worth the price in my opinion. Do some research on kodi.
