It has everything you need and games. We use it everyday.

Overall the device performed well. I love the smaller form factor. GREAT bump in processor and overall great experience. The only downside was the fact that I had to wait an hour and half for the system to do it initially setup and updates. Updates that you cannot skip!!

Clarity is great. Product is what I was looking for.

We really like the system. It became glitchy and Nvidia said they’re going to replace it. We haven’t received it yet, but love it when it isn’t randomly turning on or exiting apps while watching

Pros: Good list of app selection. Able to remove accounts easily. 5.0 GHz WiFi connection. Cons: Remote is slippery. No grip whatsoever. Unable to uninstall unwanted apps. Volume slider needs works. Will not responds at times. Non-responsive at times. I would press the Select button, and the system would not respond for about 15 – 30 seconds. And this happened consistently. I finally had to exchange it. The second one seems to work much better.

was working fine for first 6 months, then after the update, it keeps crashing, and support is not ready to accept the issue with device. very much disappointed. for this roku or fire stick would have done the job with less cost.

Device UI is okay, depending on app, can be cumbersome. Bought for sole purpose of YouTube TV, but not very well integrated for user friendliness. Returned product for this reason. Recommendation depends on what it's being used for.

I've been using an Nvidia Shield for a while now. With my old TV and setup it was great. Fast, tons of features. But with my new TV it falls short. HDR content is a hit and miss. When it does play it's fine, but if you aren't playing HDR the color just looks bad. My biggest gripe was with Dolby audio. There is a huge delay that I can't seem to get rid of, as well as loud popping sounds whenever I play and pause video, or skip to a different part of the movie. It makes it almost unusable. The controller is great, being able to play my PC games on my TV is great, but the audio issue is just deal breaker for me.

This Nvidia Shield is okay. It's nothing special if you're using it for Kodi. The Amazon fire tv box can do the same and just as fast. It has some lame games too that are free. The rest you have to have a paid monthly subscription

As far as a streaming player it seemed great and well powered. For me it was just so so, as I wanted to run Kodi for Android on it and it worked eh okay. Did not bitstream master audio and boxed seemed to take a bit to wake up

This imo, is overpriced by 75.00 or more. Lack quality apps, and most streaming apps arent availible via play store. Streaming Performance and game play is good. But for the 200.00 price, it is very lacking.

Extremely fast response to remote and loading content. But i ended up returning it because the audio would drop out intermittently. Tried to resolve the issue with Nvidia to no avail.

This thing worked for me all of 4 days before it just died, no power to it at all. When i did get to use it, it was a decent product, I did not want to re try it so i got a fire TV as a replacement.

Bought this for streaming MLB and IPTV, but have unacceptable buffering issues. Even with more RAM, the Shield underperformed vs. Apple TV 4. Spectrum 200mbs internet service isn't the problem ...

Bought this to replace another streaming box. We were blown away withe speed and overall functionality of the unit. We have done some gaming as well and the performance was spectacular. We added a 1 TB drive and wow! Pros: Speed and Preformance, 4K, multiple sound options.. Easy set up and clear functionality. Cons: None so far.

I love the diversity of the media player however when I play items through MX player it freezes on a constant basis as opposed to the VLC player which freezes less

Seems ok, but after few days video stopped playing, then no audio. Had to reboot several times. Expected a lot more for premium price tag
