Haven't taken it to its full potential yet but great product. So much faster and easier to navigate than fire tv sideloading apps is a breeze. Enjoying just playing some basic android games on the big screen. Highly recommend will be buying more as gifts.

love this thing as a stream box! replaced an Xbox 360, good for gaming too of course, also great that I can stream my steam library from the other room.

Had the premiere plus, but it didn't play nice with 4k avr. Shield and Android TV has been great. Great performance, but more importantly more functionality.

4K, android apps, super fast, its like a PC! only downside is the apps store is for android tv and not the regular android play store, but is a easy fix!

Very good media player though some apps like direct tv now is missing. Price could be cheaper.

This is our main streaming device for the living room. It is always being used and never slows down and always handles everything we throw at.

We spent years replacing cheap Android boxes about every six month at about $80 each, after the last one stopped responding, despite a rebuild, we decided to put the money into this one. Worth every dime spent. We didn’t realize how poor the buffering and general performance of a knock off Android box was until we used this one. The games are bonus fun (tomb raider!), and I was able to set up Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Netflix with my accounts with no issue at all

Streams great easy to use and does true 4k! Only has some crashing errors for the FX Now app other than that highly recommend over ruku 4k and apple tv

I am not a gamer, in fact I have never played a game on my NVIDIA Shield TV since I purchased it. I have owned to Chinese Android Boxes in the past and was satisfied with their performance, that is until I got the Nvidia Shield. Not only has it outperformed the other Android devices I own but I have set it up as a PLEX server with a 3.0 USB 1.5 TB drive attached and it worked incredibly well. I can stream content to three devices simultaneously without any lag or tearing. The Nvidia was well worth the extra money I paid for it. I highly recommend this device.

I picked this up for the 4K capabilities and gaming emulators and so far its been awesome, very fast and i love it comes with a controller and gamepad.

While more expensive than items such as a fire stick, it provides features well worth the price. It comes with a controller and a remote, both of which can control audio volume of a tv or surround sound system. The controller for gaming also has a built in headphone jack that can be used to watch videos or play games without disturbing others. One of the main selling points of the device is streaming pc games with nvidia graphis cards, which it does well. Overall a great product that I would buy again, and just might for several other rooms in my house.

The Nvidia Shield is a very fast capable streamer. It was purchased after returning a poorly functioning Roku Premier +. The remote leaves something to be desired with no dedicated play or pause buttons. Can't say anything about the gaming since I do not game. Overall I like it.

There is nothing you cant do with the Shield. Awsome for streaming games and movies. Alwys updating, greatest purchase ever.
