Wow! This thing is amazing. Excellent picture quality and fast. Just what I was looking for to watch Netflix, Amazon, Kodi, & CRTV

The volume on the remote takes some getting use to. Very nice game controller, feels great... I don’t use it much, as I don’t game. But have used it recently for connecting a wired headset to it to listen to tv and not disturb my wife. Love running Plex, Kodi, and many other apps on this device. Plex runs well as a client, not so much as a Server (which it can do, but I wasn’t impressed with it as a Plex server)

I am a long time Roku fan. When I got my new HDR screen I originally purchase a Roku Premier+. It didn't end up working out for me. I replaced it with the ShieldTV. This thing is super fast, supports HDR10, and can output bitstream audio for Dolby Atmos & DTS:X. All the apps are extremely quick and the video playback is smooth. It has all the popular apps, but doesn't have as many other apps as Roku or Apple TV. Here is what it currently doesn't support: YouTube HDR (it does do 4K) & Dolby Vision.

This is a great system. Easy to use and has many options available for apps. This is a very fast and responsive system.

I've tried just about all the mainstream (not any low budget ones) android and android based boxes and have to say I've finally found one that won't have me looking for anything to replace it for a good while. I don't use it for gaming at all and I still love this over the other streamers. The unit it just replaced was a MiBox. While for $70 it was heck of a bargain I just wanted a device that had a little more responsive support. Nvidia gave me just that. Since lauch there have been 3 updates so far. While I hate having to dl 1.8GB each time it at least tells me nVidia is working hard to make their product worth the premium price. The only negative I have so far is how the remote occasionally won't wake up and queues my inputs. It'll suddenly awaken and all the button presses happen at once. If they fix that I'd be extremely happy.

The Nvidia Shield is a amazing device. It packs a real punch compared to other devices. This device has a lot of apps that support 4K playback including Vudu, Amazon Video, Netflix, Hulu, and Ext. The device has a real good wifi connection. Gaming wise well your in for a treat. It has Geforce now which plays games over the cloud. Its kinda like Netflix for games. If you have a good internet connection you can enjoy 1080p gaming at 60 FPS. It also supports Andriod TV Games. Its a real AMAZING PACKAGE.

I love my Nvidia Shield. I use it to stream movies, shows, music, etc. It's smooth and fast. The game play is awesome!

Best streaming device that is offered. Android platform and also 4k. The newer Nvidia Shield TV also has AI upscaling that does an amazing job, I was blown away by how much better it made the picture look on all my streams. I do not have cable tv so this device is basically what I use for all media. Has so many app options and also very easy to use for Plex and a server. Great purchase.

So far the shield t.v. is great. It streams and plays games perfectly. It is a little on the pricey side and only comes with about 11GB of usable harddrive space. Definitely have to buy an external harddrive for game downloads.

Absolutely love this streamer. Bought it for my husband because he was bored with cable tv. He found out that he can play all of his favorite bands on this device. One of the best things I have ever bought.

Google os on this makes it great. 4K looks great and you can even install kodi. Great product and now it’s even smaller.

Started using cheap Android boxes with on 1 gb, decided to break the bank and buy the Nividia Shield. The performance is Night and Day! The Shield is blazing face. Not only do I use it for Kodi, but I have several APK's installed as well. I most likely will be buying another. Note: if you are just looking for a great streaming box and are not worried about hard drive storage space, this is the one, because 16gb is more than enough. You Do Not Have to Buy the 500gb, it is not necessary.

Out of all the media player this is the best product. It's powerful, 4k, faster, and also nvidia game system

The Nvidia Shield is by far the best streaming device out there. It is super responsive and reliable. I owned a fire tv 2nd Gen and liked that as well but the difference is quite noticeable. The apps run smoothly all the time and the interface is ok. I am not an avid gamer but it’s nice to know I can play a game once in a while when the mood strikes me. The remote is a little clunky compared with the fire tv but not a deal breaker. All in all, it is a great device.

Fast and reliable for most apps but has some issues playing 4K

Good product, faster than the Amazon fire stick but the remote leaves something to be desired. Very touchy and you are always hitting the volume slider thus turning the volume up and down. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
