I ended up returning this item only because it was to much of what I needed but anything Nvidia is worth the price. This is the mother of all products for streaming, works smoothly with all applications and is super easy to set-up. Highly recommend this over Roku or the Stick.

This thing is fantastic! Super snappy, simple use, and intuitive controls. Tegra processor is awesome - this thing plays games at 1080p as well as a PS3, maybe better. Highly recommend - don't use your tv's "smart menus" - this thing will bring your living room experience to a whole new level!

If you are not really into gaming and mostly stream this is great for you . If you are into gaming and streaming this is also great for you . This is an all around great device and I would recommend it to any one that can afford it and can use out to its full potential

i bought this after owning the apple tv,android tv box,fire tv, none compare to the uniqueness of the nvidia shield tv! great interface,easy to use/navigate, great game play... a well rounded setup, you have all you could want great gaming,pics,music,streaming,etc.. i love it!!

I am blown away at what this can do. It can stream all the normal stuff movies and what not . But it can also stream pc games at gtx 1080 visuals over solid WiFi and very playable over crap WiFi ie hotel WiFi. So worth it if you own steam, uplay or battlenet games.

Love this little good looking unit. I was looking for a device that would allow me to view my Vudu 4k movies on my 75 Sony Android TV. Added bonus feature, I was able to connect it my home media server and can now stream all my personal content as well. Pretty cool!

This is the best media box out right now. It's running on Android which makes it even better. I mainly use it to watch movies and TV shows running off an external hard drive using the app "spmc". Very smooth. I also use it for Netflix and listen to music on my Spotify account.

Everything I have thrown at this thing it plays and plays well. I use Plex as my back end and have a number of converted 4K files. It handles 4K, HDR, ATMOS, DTS-X. It can take avi, mkv, mp4 - you name it. It is great. The only con is the price - at $99 it would be AWESOME

Well, this was something my son truly wanted for Christmas. We found it at a good price (Black Friday pricing). He received it for Christmas and was able to set it up rather quickly. The refresh rate on several of the basic games are sketchy using WiFi, so we have hard-wired into our internet access. Everything seems to be moving smoothly now. I'm checking again for updates so that he can uses the system as he had intended. So we will see.

No problems except streaming quality on Hulu is not as good as going straight through the smart tv. Shield is hard wired too. May be a Hulu issue but overall this is a nice addition for cable cutting

NVIDIA - SHIELD TV Gaming Edition - After trying numerous Android TV Boxes, this is the best box on the market. The software runs smoothly, it get's consistent updates (most Android TV boxes don't), and the sound, picture, and connection quality are great! Do yourself a favor and make the one time investment that will meet your needs for years to come! Did I mention that you can EXPAND THE MEMORY?!? Also, being able to speak into the remote to access Google Assistant and turn on/off your TV are great bonus benefits!! Get yours now and never need another box again!! I haven't downloaded any games yet, because I enjoy the TV functionality so much! Also, I have a PS4, so that can handle any gaming fix that I need! But if you don't have a gaming system, this would be a low cost add-on benefit if you have young kids as well. You can play games like Fortnite and such, so get one while you can!!

I can't say enough good things about my Nvidia Shield. It's my main Kodi/IPTV streaming device. I went through numerous cheap Kodi player boxes till I finally folded and spent the coin on the shield. All I have to say is, WORTH IT. It runs fantastic. Nothing runs as smooth or without fail.

Simple setup. If you want to add Android TV features to your new Flat screen, look no further.

Where do i start all i can say this is a very simple but powerful little machine. I have it connected to my samsung 4k tv and it's my go to tv platform. I got all the apps i need since there all most every app you can think off. I installed emulators so i can play some retro games.

Got this when my MI BOX 3 bricked up. . The sheild is super fast and it has Amazon Prime Video which the MI BOX doesn't so no more switching back to my Roku for that. Only thing wrong with it is that the USB ports are too close together for SanDisk thumb drives.

This is the only thing connected to my living room TV now. It streams everything that I need: streaming my PC games, live TV, media from my server, and grabs casts from my mobile devices. Great all-in-one solution with a tiny footprint. Note that this version has an IR blaster remote that can control various IR components; not the remote with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The game controller however, does have a headphone jack if you're looking for that feature.

This streaming device/ android gaming system is unique in the fact that it provides the possibility of playing top title games. You can also use youtube, netflix or hulu on this device. Even use the android game store for other games to play.
