I had been using a fire stick. After tweaking as much as I knew how, I upgraded to the Nvidia Shield. Boy was it worth it. I did have tweak the shield some, but it is a performer. Glad I made the switch.......Definitely not cheap, but my on line streaming is a breeze now.

EVERYTHING about this device is awesome. It's super fast, plays high end games without a stutter. Plays H265 video files better than any device out there. A premium priced product that's worth every penny. Best media experience I have ever had the pleasure of using.

I have both apple tv and fire tv. I must say I was blown away with the power of this beast of a streamer. Apple limits what you can do and Amazon fire tv has the basic things that you need. If you are looking for a beast of a streamer, this is the one! I love it!

I bought this as a replacement for my Firestick. It was pretty eat to install and ready to use right out of the box. I'm still trying to learn how to use the game controller, but I love all the free games available.

This such a convenient device. I can play games or watch television. Much better than Roku!

This is the best Android box hands down. I've loaded all of my TV/movie apps from my cable and loaded all the emulators I can find. They work great for my games. I've heard it has the same processor maybe even more memory than the Nintendo switch and clocks faster.

does everything it says it will. Right out of the box, very easy to setup and program unit.

The NVIDIA - SHIELD TV Gaming Edition - 4K HDR Streaming Media Player is excellent. I personally never used it for games. But running 4K HDR through it to my TV is superior to any other technology I have deployed.

It’s the only way to get 4k Hdr Atmos With this and plex you can play 4k UHD rips, use gamestream from your pc , just brilliant I wish the hdr color space would auto switch (coming in new update). It’s annoying to switch manually to 2020 color space and back

I have been streaming and wanting to "cut the cord' for some time now. I read so many reviews praising the Shield box that I just had to try it. One of the best made decisions ever!!! Super fast, clear, and just awesome!! Get you one, you will not be disappointed.

Powerful and fast streaming device. CUT THE CORD and stream all your TV! After much searching we found this to be the very best way to stream your favorite TV shows. Just a warning....you MUST have a great internet service and better to hardwire from your modem for best quality!

I compared this to the high end Roku as well as the fire TV, and I chose the shield. It's clearly the quickest box, and the RF remotes are fantastic. It is well worth the extra money to upgrade from the Roku, especially if you are wanting to stream games to it from your computer.

My husband loves this device. We no longer have cable because this has freed us from it!!

Dont have much to complain about this. Works flawlessly 99% of the time, but the only issue I see is that the controller may go into a deep sleep and may take a while to perform an action. Once it wakes up, everything is good again. I would definitely recommend this.

Very happy with it, having a lot of fun with what it has to offer and I'm not a technology addict, wanted something other than XBOX and Sony trappings, and this does the job nicely. Lots of added features available and external storage options.

This box has by far the most powerful hardware of any of the streaming boxes on the market and it shows it. Moving around apps and settings is very fast and fluid. Biggest plus is that it can do 4k HDR. For an enthusiast like me it was a must. I deducted a star from the overall rating because of the price. It's priced too high compared to the competition and you only get 16GB storage with the base model. It should have been at least 32GB.

Using it as an android streaming device as well as plex and hdhomerun dvr player. Fastest android streamer I have used but needed to sideload some apps not found in Google play store. Has gaming abilities that I have not used. Excellent support and updates.

This is an excellent streaming device that has Amazon Prime video on it. It is also a fun gaming device.

This is an awesome android box. I love that it comes with preloaded games as well.
