I purchased this in anticipation of streaming tv service...and I have been super impressed at the speed of apps opening etc. Worth the $$$

I was skeptical that this would be worth the price. Surprisingly it is! Way faster and performs better than any other streaming device by far.

Best Android Tv hands down. You have the power of a Nvidia Tegra Video and 4K video capability and it can also play video games! What more can you ask for?!!?!

The Nvidia Shield is by far the best option to use to stream movies and live tv. Only problem I can see with the unit is the included remote is terrible. Buy a new Fire Tv remote and pair it in the Bluetooth settings of the Shield. Makes a big difference

First I like to say that it's little pricey but it's worth getting it because Nvidia Shield beings out the 4K Movies and games to true colors of 4K...

The shield is surprisingly small and has remarkable speed. I hooked it up with an Ethernet cable its has been blazing through everything I do.

I love it, it's fast at loading movies and such. It's great for streaming my PC games to my TV. It's also ok for streaming games online with a subscription

For anyone who thinks all streaming devices are equal, they're not! This is hands down, the best all around streaming device on the planet.

I will skip over all the things that the Shield does and doesn't do. You probably know that by now. I will comment on my own experience with the device--along with Nvidia customer service. Yes, a few days after I purchased and set up my Shield, I needed help. My Shield was randomly turning itself off--like, a HARD shut down. It couldn't even be turned on via remote. I had to unplug and re-plug the device in order for it to resume power. It happened when using Plex (as a client), Netflix and Hulu. Again, the shutdown's seemed completely random to me. I read online via Nvidia's forums that the company really wants all defective units to be sent back to them, that way they can identify the culprit and hopefully fix the problem. Returning the device to the store complicates this, or prevents it completely. So, instead of returning the unit to BB, I opted to contact customer support via chat. I waited on hold for about 40 minutes before a rep got to me. That conversation led me taking pictures of the unit and the box, and sending them via email to another rep. The email rep was excellent. Acknowledged and responded to my every message within an hour or so. Two days later, I received an email from Nvidia's RMA Dept about a new device being on its way. Unfortunately, the device I received was a refurbished unit. It works fine--no shut downs--but also had some scratches and other signs of significant use. Plus, if I pay full price for something brand new, I expect the replacement to be brand new (especially if I could have just as easily returned the defunct product back to the store and received another brand new device). I'm not talking about a year-old product--no, it was about 10 days off the shelf now. Sooooo, that's where I'm at now. I've asked Nvidia to send me a new unit, or refund me some of the cost that I paid for a new Shield (fat chance). Will update this as time goes on...

This is hands down the best streamer I've had till date. It streams crisp 4K and has integrated Google Assistant which is an icing on the cake

It is one of the fastest digital media players you can get. The only complaint I'm having is issues with getting dolby digital audio out of it consistent. If I plug in my Apple TV to the same cable and port it consistently sends digital to my receiver. Still troubleshooting it.

This device has so much more power than a firestick highly recomend. Product is a little spendy but so worth it!

The Shield is an awesome Android TV Box. Not only does it stream movies and tv shoes, you can also play awesome games on the Nvidia network. Highly recommend!

I know it's meant more for gaming, but I got this strictly based on the android tv. Streaming is super fast and the google assistant feature is great too.

Streams 4k with Dolby Atmos. One of the few streamers that can do all that. Playing streaming games is very good.

This little box is amazing. If you tried the cheap Android box and were turned off to Android try a Shield. It can handle anything you throw at it.

I've owned a few different Android boxes and the Nvidia Shield is by far the best I've ever owned. Don't use for games, but tv and movies are great!

I bought this after my Android box died on me. This is by far the best all in one box anyone could havd. I strongly recommend anyone to buy it!!!!
