The best performing box not without quirks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own three of these. All three have their own quirks. One unit shuts itself off randomly and resets. One unit skips on Netflix. All three units have issues with remote response, when near my Sony 4k tv. I believe this to be an antenna problem inside of the unit. I would love to exchange these but a 1 year warranty is all they get. The Nvidia shield tv is very flexible it has a good selection of apps, does well at gaming and emulation. Chrome casting is fantastic, external storage is great and easy to set up. The box if working properly is a cord cutter and gamers dream.

No more lag

Great Media Streamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily use the Shield TV to stream Netflix, Amazon and TV (Via an HDHomeRun Prime networked tuner). The Shield TV is incredibly snappy and works flawlessly! We've downloaded a couple games and my son plays them with the much improved game controller (much better than the previous version). This has been a great purchase and I'm hoping to decommission my Home Theater PC as soon as AndroidTV improves the new DVR features in the Live Channels app.
