Great Device

I bought this device because I was having connection issues with my chrome cast. The shields connection is perfect. I don't game on this at all, just wanted a reliable unit. No complaints this far. Only gripe is Comcast blocks all premium content (HBO, Starz, etc) through Android TV. You can only cast it from your phone to the shield.

Although I have a gigabit home network, there is still an annoying amount of lag in the game stream feature when streaming from a gaming pc.

Excellent Plex Server and Streaming Device

I run a Plex server for 2 TV's and stream multiple services as well as connect portable flash & hard drives for local playing of movies, music and photos. I never buffer or stutter on my playback of media, having a Nighthawk gaming/streaming router helps out too.
