This is Simply the best streaming box in the market. Played every file I throwed at it. The controller is a joy to use. It can also turn on/off you tv through the CEC feature. If you use a hard wired ethernet, the playback is instant. Well worth the price.

The shield has met and exceeded all my expectations. Quick load times and great functionality. I will be purchasing another one for our family room. The video game controller is an added bonus for playing retro games, highly recommended.

Wow i love this little device..i thought it was bigger..its slick,thin and fancy..i love all the apps you can download on this..even games look amazing..has tons of games..better than a xbox one and less bulk..very compact and easily portable for sure.

Best media streaming device hands down. All other media streaming devices can match the Shield until Plex. With it's ability to play Atmos media it becomes the no brainer options for true home theaters.

I did not like that the movies did not come preloaded. But once we downloaded it works great.

This is the best streaming device ever and none of the others come close. It's also a great gaming console and games are lighting fast and look as good as the ps4 and xbox, the beauty is, just for buying the shield there are many free games.

it works good, responds faster than say a firestick but for the price i would rather get a firestick and put up with longer response time

The unique feature is it can hold files with maximum sizes. 4K quality and the clarity is too good. If you are a movie freak, gamer or you want the best quality, do not think twice. The quality and the design is awesome too.

Hands down the best streaming device you can get. It does EVERYTHING! There are tons of YouTube videos that show you exactly what this baby can do and how to do it. Endless apps available to do whatever you want it to do.

Finally a streaming device that works as advertised. Demon receiver correctly recognizes all audio and video formats. This thing is a game changer for streaming devices.

The shield is an excellent device, the only downside is there are less apps available compared to a Roku. This is not the fault of the shield but more the result of the Android TV operating system. Make sure the apps you want are available.

First Android box I brought. Love having all my media streaming and gaming in one box.

I was looking forward for 4k gaming and steaming devices. It serves the purpose...

This media streamer does what no other can: unites all my content in one streaming box. If you use iTunes, that won't be the case for you, since that is the one major service that isn't supported. I was planning to use this box as a server (running Plex server, HDHomeRun DVR) to replace my HTPC, but sadly the buggy software and the way the system handles external hard drive/app storage permissions made this impossible for my setup.

I have had this ShieldTV a while now, and I will say I will never go back to using Roku. nVidia has even been updating it regularly, well past the time most device manufacturers do (usually 2 year cycles).

Makes everything so much easier, better quality picture and easier to access shows and movies.

Device meets and exceeds all expectations for a home media unit. Have not tried for gaming yet. Playing locally 60Mbit/s stored 4k video at 60fps is flawless, could not have asked for more.Hands down the Best media player on the market.

Excellent streaming machine. The best I've ever had. It's very versatile in the things your able to do with it. Definitely would recommend for those high streamers using kodi, hulu, netflix etc......Definitely will be buying another in the near future.
