It's one of the best Android boxes ever. But I do wish the app store would have a lot more apps then it does. The AC controller is an issue it's only made for Nvidia and only sold with the unit. No one sells the AC adapter, not even Nvidia. I wish that they will change this and be able to sell one.

1. Limited to google play applications and games. But performance is smooth in accessing apps 2. Can install only google games is Reduced one star 3. Software is old and performance with usb is less. These 2 factor reduced one star. Otherwise.. best Android tv and streaming is best. work for the mony.. comparing Apple tv. !!

Not bad little streamer. Not perfect but the Google streaming was good.

It´s a little expensive, I gave it a long thought before I bought it, but experiencing all the gaming experience besides the lightning fast video processing, it worth every single penny I invested in it. NVIDIA ROCKS!

Streaming services and local games work great. The remote is awesome and will turn TV on off and operate volume on my receiver, huge plus. The Nvidia game stream and steam game stream from my gaming PC are terrible though. Lags. Disconnects and freezes all the time. Both are hardwired with CAT6 to an very high end asus router. Unfortunate for game streaming but excellent media device.

Nvidia knocks it out of the park with this one. add a external hard drive and wireless mouse/keyboard and this is one great machine . Has a bit of a higher than normal learning curve to setup. but lots of support out for this device.

I couldn't be happier.....got rid of cable....course had to have my son set it up....but I love it....hooked up to my smart tv...which I also brought a few months back from best buy...just internet...and I watch all my favorite shows

Its fast, and works. There are a few issues though, one 16gb drive has basically no space to record shows, wish could turn off the tv and keep the unit on from its remote. Sometimes it is slow to access from off network. Have not found a way to access external attached hard drive. DVR function to seems to not always catch when to start stop. Overall recommend.

Not an ease android device to use it is more like Amazon and the app store for google hard to use the voice command basically for youtube. the game controller is nice but unable to use a wireless mouse I might have to buy a Bluetooth mouse. If you just want to use it for games and youtube probably no better device but if you want to use it for android tv save your money and do not buy

I am very happy with the capabilities of the shield. I recently cut the cord, this device was quipped with everything I needed to get over the withdrawal period. I would definitely recommend this device to a friend.

Besides being the only way to get Amazon Prime on Android TV, if that matters enough to you, it is the best experience and most updated user interface that exist. 25+ updates over 3 years and still going strong.

I used this device for the last 3 years and it is still best of class. The updates keep coming for this high end streaming device which is rare for something this old in its product cycle. This is my third one.

The Nvidia Shield is perhaps the best Android TV box on the market. It sets up fast, beautiful image quality and very snappy response. The remote is slick and easy to use. Gaming is fast and impressive. Apple has no monopoly on cool.

Hands down, year after year the best decision for andriod media player. Every update to this device is stellar and it has been trouble free for me. This is my primary media player for my home theater system.

We love the shield. Our home has four of this in different rooms. We used them to replace the cable boxes. You will need an HDHomerun product to achieve this. But, it's saved us quite a bit of money.

This is an amazing Streaming Box it does everything it says, download your favorite apps and your good to go. Also the Games Graphics are awesome. Highly recommend. I own 3 no complaints

Nvidia Shield TV Box, the best Android TV Box ever. No other Android TV Box compared to this one. Don't waste your time with a Roku or Apple TV this is the box you need. 100% Netflix 4K Streaming , Amazon Vídeo and more.

I now have three active Shields. The user interface is very snappy and they are activity updating the OS. I've tried the less expensive alternatives and returned them all. Nothing compared to the Shield
