I have three Shields that I stream my cable TV throughout my home. The Shields get current security updates and they are rock solid. I am very happy with both the hardware and the support they get.

I purchased this for my nephew while he's visiting me. It's great, he can play most of the games he could on a PS4 or Xbox, it's also great because I can stream videos on it for the little kids.

Does everything you could want. Stream,game, and much more. Lot cheaper option to many other consoles out there plus a month of Sling so I will be slinging thanks to the Black Friday deal.

The reviews that I read were impressive but after purchasing them actually using this system I was blown away. It's very easy to navigate and it looks good sitting beside my TV. Not bulky or weird looking.

4K Streaming! Netflix never looked so good. The actual device is a lot smaller than I expected. The library of free games is worth the price. Google Assistant and Chromecast is built in.

Good: -Can download various media streaming aps from Google play store: Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Pluto, etc. -download google play games -Play games on Nvidia server -Still serviceable almost 3 years later Bad- -game controller input lag -controller thumbstick broke about a year in with very little use. -

Cut the cord and this is a must have. Has the power for multi-view and enough memory to store and record. Plus it can expand memory. Uses play store but also has prime video.

Shield is excellent for streaming and gaming with fast processor.

This is probably the best of the android TV devices. The remote and game controller are really good. This thing really shines when you plug it into an ethernet cable vs just using wifi.

Not quite a console gaming box but in some ways better if you're into pc or android gaming. Not just a streaming box but it can stream 4K HDR. Not a tivo but it can replace one with some additional hardware. Timely updates from Nvidia keep it useful and up to date. Whats not to like. 4 stars because even as good as it is, there is room for improvement.

I have used several Android TV boxes the past few years and this is by far the best one. It has an easy to use platform, and covers all of my movie and TV watching needs as well as the use of apps.

Got two of these Nvidia Shield boxes and hands down are the best media players that money can buy. They are fast and they have HDMI passthrough which is a must if you want to play DTS files.

Definitely a high end multimedia server for me. Not using it heavily for games, but I tested it and it’s a great device. Love the constant software updates that make it even better

Absolute best media player. 4K HDR compatibility, I searched for one that would allow me to stream Dolby Atmos and this is the only one I found that could. Only downside is no Dolby Vision support

This is by far the best product to use for streaming media. It handles 4K content flawlessly and is faster than any other product I have ever used.
