I purchased this movie after watching it on cable television. I like it so much I purchased it with the digital copy so I could watch it when I travel. It is more of a sci-fy movie but the theme is ageless in that it is based on human relationships. Different ending than I expected.

I enjoyed OBLIVION on Blu-ray, but seeing it in 4K was unreal. It was almost as if the characters were in your 4K TV screen. If you have a 4K TV, get OBLIVION. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I wasn't sold on the movie like I am on some others but it wasn't bad. With that being said it has some real good moments and the price that Best Buy has on the movie now... On BluRay with a digital copy, well that was a no brainier

The 4K release of Oblivion shows a remarkable improvement over the Blu-ray release. The picture quality shows a nice uptick in detail and thanks to HDR the color palette offers many more subtle variations of shading, really making this film a visual masterpiece.

This was such a fantastic sci fi movie. An original story and amazing sound track. You can't not listen to the end credits all the way through. This movie comes to life with dolby atmos.

Interesting science fiction premise. Excellently filmed with top notch special effects without being overdone. All actors gave good performances. 4k transfer not much better than blue-ray version.

I was looking for a great 4k movie that could show off my new sony HTST5000 soundbar's capabilities. This was fantastic. I could hear the atmos overhead and all around me. Pretty good show, too. +1

Well the Earth ended again and Yankee fans won't be happy. I can definitely appreciate the story, as a conspiracy slowly comes to light and will there be hope in the end? A good story not cruises or freeman's best but together they pull it off together for a very good story overall.

I had never seen this until I watched the 4K bluray. Great plot and great acting. 4K image was stella, sharp, detailed and good color, although most of the scenes are intentionally monochromatic in nature, other than the idyllic valley. Can't wait to watch it again.

When I first saw Oblivion, on my laptop, the effects, music, story, and overall world presented in the movie drew me in completely. Watching it again in 4k with hdr and full surround sound . . . was like I had only ever seen a shadow of what the movie really was.

The movie itself is okay, its a big bold undertaking it just kind of falls flat-they missed the mark somewhere, just not sure where- its worth a rewatch- and for 1.99 its a steal! Cant rent it for that!

This disc set has all the things you’re looking for. The colors are not spectacular as the setting of the film is bleak to begin with. Clarity and smooth imagery presented in spectacular 4k.

Tom Cruise once again shines as an ace pilot and humanistic hero in this terrifying vision of the future. A subtle yet stunning fight to preserve humanity against a hidden alien threat. Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman team up to save the earth and mankind.

I really enjoyed this movie. The camera work, CGI, and acting were great! The story was good too. The video quality was superb. The audio quality was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the immersion into the story provided by the surround sound and visuals.

Not sure when I became such a Tom Cruise fan, but apparently he's in a lot of good science fiction movies(Edge of Tomorrow, Oblivion, Minority Report, etc.). My dad describes this movie as "Awesome". How much better can it get?

While I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite performances by him. The cinematography, story line, originality, character performances, and effects makes this film a standout for me. A great sci-fi film, on the same level as Avatar...sure to become a classic.

This is an interesting sci-fy movie of the future. The acting was good, as well as the graphics. I like a big variety of movies and this one fits with my parameters, with a good, happy ending where good conquers the evil invaders!

I loved the movie in the theater. To see it at home on my 4k TV is amazing. I love the story and coupled with the 4K HDR, amazing! Definitely buy. I got it on sale during Black Friday. Great price.

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent sound effects and cgi. Once again, Tom Cruise effortlessly carries the film to its inevitable conclusion. Put it on the big screen and turn up the surround sound. Highly recommended.

Saw this movie on amazon years ago and had to buy it on 4k to really appreciate the special effects. Story holds your interest and ending is satisfying. Would recommend to sifi lovers. No corny characters.
