I really liked the story, the backgrounds and extra were kinda cheap looking which I noticed quiet often. The weapons were cool. I can see this movie being remade with Avatar like picture effects.

Oblivion is a pretty good movie that looks GREAT! Tom Cruise plays his part well, as usual and Morgan Freeman was great, again as usual. The plot was decent enough and had a nice twist at the end.

I own this movie in Blu Ray already and I'm building a new library of 4K movies that includes the movies I think are most interesting. This is definitely one of them.

Picture and sound are unique. The action sequences exciting. The story line and plot twists are thought provoking. A glimpse into our future? Cruise is excellent as are the supporting cast.

Wow!! It has been a long time since I've seen this movie. The combination of 4K with incredible visuals and sound and a unique story with a great ending made this extremely enjoyable to watch! Glad I now own it!

I first saw Oblivion in the theater when it was first released a few years back and thought it was an awesome movie. If your a Tom Cruise fan, then this movie is a must have for your 4k Ultra Hi-Def collection.

Already owned this disk on Blu-ray, but wanted to test out the HDR and see how it impacted an already stellar looking movie. As expected I was not disappointed! Find it on sale and beef up the selection.

One of Tom Cruise's recent releases last year. I saw it in the theater and it's worth seeing on your HD TV. If you like Sci Fi, you can't go wrong with this one and the sale price. Great set design, great cinematography, awesome visuals.

I expected so much more from both Cruse and Freeman; slightly disappointed. Kinda predictable. Spoiler: Cruse was not as he seemed to be. I would still recommend it, with caution. No blockbuster.

My home theater experience is becoming better than going to the movies. I understood the plot this time because of the clearer sound. The uhd picture is really good.

This is one of Tom Cruise's most underrated movies! Original concept, great cast, and a crazy twist.... highly recommend!

When I first saw the movie it was nothing how I expected it to be. I never read the reviews so I had no clue as to the direction it was going. I found it very entertaining.

From the storyline to the acting. Amazingly the writer was able to direct and keep his vision instead of what normally happens. Really well done all the way around and this package gave me DVD, blue ray and digital copy for $8

Really good movie and I thought the update to 4K HDR was good. Probably not the best I’ve seen but still very good.

I bought this without ever seeing this movie before and it wasn't what I was expecting. However it was still a decent movie. I would have like alil more action but still there was enough.

The movie is enjoyable if you don't think about the logic behind it. If you do, there are so many plot holes that it starts to resemble Swiss cheese. Beautiful looking film that looks fabulous on UHD and sounds great. This film, though shot at 4k, was mastered at 2k and then upscaled from 2k to UHD for this UHD disc. It has HDR10 high dynamic range. Once again, it looks great, but would look even better if it came from a 4k master and was given Dolby Vision for high dynamic range.

While the color pallet of the movie is generally a gray tone, the 4k shines, especially in the scenes where the forestry is present. The detail in faces is flawless. Can't wait for more of Tom's movies to come to 4k!

For some reason, this movie didn't seem to get the same fanfare as others when it was released, but I REALLY enjoy this movie. Another classic from Tom Cruise and a movie worth watching. 4K adds to its beauty.

Long story short, it's an okay movie that is worth watching every once in awhile. The Blu-ray does the Sci-fi scenery and action sequences justice. Without trying to reveal too much, if you overlook the numerous scientific inaccuracies (i.e. Loss of so much water each day, and still being able to maintain the atmosphere and oxygen levels...not likely) the movie isn't that bad. The little twists throughout keep the movie entertaining. I wouldn't go into this movie expecting too much. The plot is okay, and the character development is alright.
