Oblivion is a well cast and well directed film. The chemistry between the two main characters, played my Morgan Freeman and Tom Cruise is believable and exciting. The production quality is well crafted and also beautiful and suitable. Overall a good effort and worth seeing.

One of his many foray's into sci-fi, definitely entertaining but not one of his best. what keeps the story afloat is the brilliant direction and look of the director who did "tron: legacy". very flashy and sharp. great to have running in your luxury electronics store.

I have watched Oblivion so many times, and it is just as good every time. Just when I thought that it was just another good movie, I watched it on Blue Ray... Unbelievable!!!!!! I saw detail in this movie that I thought was not possible... Detail that made me enjoy the same movie as if for the very first time... It was AWESOME : )

This movie really does look amazing. The blu-ray edition also looked great, but with the added benefit of HDR, some scenes really shine. The audio is also phenomenal. The UHD version of Oblivion has a very dynamic Dolby TrueHD 7.1 mix as well as a Dolby Atmos mix, if your home theater is equipped for that.

OMG this in 4K is so awesome. I already had the BLU RAY and i use a 4K PLAYER by SAMSUNG the newest one and it upscales the BLU RAY but the actual 4K MOVIE DISK is way better than BLU RAY. also having a 4 K PLAYER is better quality than on line viewing of 4K streaming. The proof is in the Samsung 4K PLAYER the newest one.

this movie is a great Sci Fi movie, even if your not a Tom Cruise fan. the entire film has one of the greatest overall images i have seen in a long time for a 1080P Blu Ray-and the 7.1 Audio if you should have a true WOW home theater will really impress you. Even dialog is always easy to hear, which as many people know is not always the case in movies.

I really like this movie. I've been a fan of Joseph Kosinski's work since I first saw Tron: Legacy. This film is very similar in its visual design and cinematography. It looks soooo good in 4K, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The movie was entertaining, just not action packed. It had a good story line. I love Morgan Freeman as always. Beautiful Cinematography, even if some of it was done on green screen. Funny thought it wasn't what I expected. Some parts of the movie left you with questions at the end.

Oblivion is a good, Saturday night movie to watch with the fella's or the family. Visually appealing, it does a good job of keeping your attention. I think it's a little long and if you miss some of it you may have to watch it again to understand the ending. Otherwise, good movie.

Great storyline, surprise ending. Makes one think, "what if..." This is a similar sci-fi along the lines of computers taking over the world. It will also make you think of how we're moving closer to this technology; therefore, there is a possibility of this happening in our lifetime. New technology must not/cannot outwit humans!

This is a good action movie. Won't be the best movie you've seen, but if the reason you by discs is so you can sit in awe in front of your big screen/surround sound and watch some action, this fits the bill. I wish there were movies like this every week.

While not the best movie out there, I purchased this because the colors and contrast look outstanding on my home theater setup. I was impressed when I watched it on On Demand, and when the price dropped for the holidays, I jumped at the opportunity to own the Blu-ray. I'm pleased with my decision.

For a first watch it could be a bit better then decent but for a second or third time it might be less then a decent movie. Tom is his usual self as a character with not to many variations since his other SciFi movies. The movie’s plot is pretty simple with a few twists and an predictable finish.

I'm a little surprised people don't talk about this film more. It's a first-rate REAL science fiction story with a good cast. I missed it in the theater, but it sure does look great on Blu-ray. I haven't even looked at the bonus features yet; I just love the movie and got it at a great price.

This was one of my favorite movies of 2013. Great movie if you like Sci-Fi. I'm not a huge fan of Cruise, but he did a nice job in the movie. Just when you think you have the movie figured out, the rug comes out and its totally different than you first thought.

I already had this movie in BlueRay. And I love it. Purchased “oblivion” 4 K as I purchased a 4K tv and wanted to see differences between BlueRay and 4kDVD. It is clearer but not enough for me to duplicate other movies that I love. If you like Tom Cruise and Sci-fi this is a must have movie.

This title can be picked up fairly inexpensively nowadays. It is definitely one to own. The HDR here is in full effect on the UHD Blu-ray. It truly is stunning. There is a big difference between this and the Blu-ray counterpart.

I enjoyed this in IMAX back when it released. I had it on HD digital but picked up the 4K edition while it was on sale for $15. Well worth it in 4K with the visuals in this movie. The Dolby Atmos is good and I enjoy the M83 soundtrack. It sounds really good in my 5.1.2 setup with it cranked up.

Super happy with the 4K quality! Great actors and well done movie. I finally got this movie to add to collection. Biggest problem was taking the Lords name in vain. No need for that

I purchased this primarily for 2 reasons. 1. It's a great reference movie to display/test your speaker setup and TV picture quality. This movie looks great in 4K. The Dolby Atmos sound is crisp and deep 2. Its Tim Cruise, and he belongs in your collection of Sci-fi action movies
