This movie is a cross between 2001 Space Odyssey and Twilight Zone. It is loaded with unexpected plot twists and is made believable by good acting. Set design and visual effects are all top notch. The Sky Tower is the ultimate condo. I want to live there... And the bubble-ship is awesome. None of this would be phenomenal minus this movie's amazing soundtrack!

I remember seeing ads for this movie, but never gave it much of a thought. I ended up watching it one day, and was really impressed. It was a really good science fiction movie, and Cruise's acting was really good. For a fun futuristic movie that will keep you engaged the entire time, I'd heartily recommend this

This was an excellent and exciting movie. Some of the twists and turns were not fully unexpected but nearly so. Some of the movie critics say that the movie is not very original and that may be a fair criticism but truly most movies aren't completely original. If you enjoy science fiction and action, I think you'll enjoy this movie.

Overall, I did enjoy this movie. However, I feel like the story was very slow to develop and there was not as much action as I would have liked. They did do a great job with the visuals, though. Not Cruise's best, but worth the low purchase price.

I think that this is one of Tom Cruise's best movie. He does not over act like he does on his other movies. I normally do not watch his movies but caught it while channel surfing. I watched it in full the next time it was on and enjoyed it.

I bought this movie blind and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. While the story does have many ideas borrowed from other sci-fi classics it is still very well done and very enjoyable. It won't change your life but it is worth seeing.

This is one of those movies where you keep coming back to it simply because it is so amazing to look at. The landscapes and the flying sequences, whoa!. Just sit back and go for the ride.

The story was good in the movie. It has a good twist when you start realizing what is actually going on. Overall it is a very enjoyable movie and the only thing I would hope for would be a little more action.

Oblivion has some of the best cinematography of movies from this year. Shot in Iceland, it has amazing locations as well as great visual effects. The story is a bit reminiscent of another sci-fi film, Moon, but both are great in their own way.

This movie is great. The music is fantastic, it has an interesting story with a few twists and left me wanting more. It reminded me a bit of Space Odyssey 2000 and it felt like an homage to throwback Sci-Fi which I enjoy.

This is one of my top favorite movies of all time. The soundtrack, story, plot twist is all great. Haven’t watched in 4K unites but blu Ray is already crisp and clean on my 45in flat screen.

I thought it was a great film, makes you think and use your imagination. Some people don't understand that and will give it a lesser rating.

tom and morgan are great in this film. i really like sci-fi movies and this one was great. i think i've watched it a dozen times. i might even buy it in 4k.

UHD Blu-ray gives you an astonishing picture quality in HDR, if your TV is not HDR compactible then you will not see the benefits of this UHD movie.

this is a true movie for people that have a understanding mind of great syfy great actors and lots of action the story is only for people like me who really love syfy

Pleasantly surprised, Great Cinematography! True sci-fi story though somewhat predictable, but the visuals and audio more than make up for it.

I quite enjoyed this movie. It does seem to draw from several other sci-fi greats, but it's still pretty enjoyable.

Oblivion was a great scifi film with a fantastic score, beautiful cinematography, and great effects. Perfect demo material for your home theater.
