I am very pleased with the rift. The set up was fairly simple and intuitive, cables could be longer, I thought it said there were 2 16' extension cables but mine did not have them in the box. The included games are decent and nice they are included. Marvel Powers United is fun, but I have only been able to play online with others if you can find them after the intro tutorial. I will need to research this further. The headset is comfortable, sensors work well and the display resolution is acceptable, but was hoping for better. Overall for $399 with the 6 games plus Marvel is a good value. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get into VR but not spend almost double that for the Vive.

Growing up this was the dream. Total immersion has arrived! People do not realize how far VR tech has come. Only a power PC and a room scale can really put you inside the Virtual world. All the silly phone apps, and console attempts. They might as well be a Atari game compared to What you eperience in VR with a Power PC. Growing up in the 80's this was the dream! It is amazing! You will only get the REAL deal with a pc. Forgot what you think you know about VR if you have never had a pc to handle it in roomscale. I was and still am amazed. not just gaming tool either.. U can do anything in VR as if at your keyboard! Check it out! it's is so worth the eperience. I am writing this in my VR condo, overlooking the ocean!

Good Vr wish came with a 2 player with out on line

I bought this because I wanted to see what VR is all about. The setup was easy, I first used the two sensors setup and it worked perfect. I eventually went full room with three sensors now. Still works great. The controller technology is neat. It can tell when you are pointing and when you have your thumb up or down. The size is perfect for my family. The smallest being my daughter (8, she's extra small for her age). It fits her face fine and stays in place and the controller is not too big. It was amazing trying it for the first time. I didn't have much faith coming from the phone in the glasses setup, but it's not even on the same level. There’s a few things that could be done better. I sweat a lot and the foam band that goes around the headset soaks it all up. It would have been nice to have a non-absorbent material lining the foam. I’m currently searching a third party option. The cord gets twisted depending on the game. Full 360 games gives you the option of moving in any direction. This causes the cord to twist and coil up if you don’t realize it. I have to unplug sometimes to untwist the cables. I hope the next gen systems comes with a swivel type connection. The lens also can get dirty if you are not super careful. It’s easily to tell and easy to clean. Lastly, not all VR games are created equally. You’ll have to try them to see how well they work. The library is also small, this includes STEAM games. It should get better though. Overall I am happy with my purchase. We are having a lot of fun with it. Would be nice to have another setup!

This is a pretty cool introduction to vr and shows that a promising future lies ahead for the tech. I enjoyed it for the most part though I did find that I felt nausea after about 15 minutes of use. The hardware worked well with my system and setup was simple, I expected to spend a much longer time setting up the oculus rift but it was really made easy by the on screen prompts guiding you through setting up your play space. I’d recommend oculus rift to anyone interested in vr with a system that can handle it.

I am really happy with the Oculus Rift touch. VR is mind-blowing fun! There are lots of games that come with it. the rift was very easy to set up. The two sensor system works great but I did buy a third sensor a month later for better tracking.

High res screens, good refresh rate and great field of view make this an immersive experience, with very little motion sickness. Played Fallout VR and it was amazing. Totally worth it!

As something of a VR veteran and enthusiast I was looking for an upgrade for my Playstation VR. The tracking and controllers for the oculus are so hugely improved over the ps4s offering. The only real disadvantage are the pc requirements - I already knew in advance that I needed a top end pc to add VR capabilities to it but what did take me by surprise was that it required three USB ports (and a USB hub wouldn't work due to the power requirements). So take those 3 USB ports, add a controller and a mouse and a keyboard.. And suddenly I found myself with no spare ports. Still - it's an incredible piece of kit and worth every penny.

First off, I'm glad I read about keeping the lenses out of sunlight before I got mine. Just a heads up. I keep my curtains drawn and put the headset in a bag when I'm not using it. As for the review: I'd used Google Cardboard and GearVr before this, but had always heard that Oculus Rift was on a whole other level. Boy were they right. The sense of depth and actually being in the space you're playing in (especially with the touch controllers) is really amazing on first use. I've had mine for about a month now and it is still a very cool experience. Truth be told, I still game on my monitor most of the time because the Oculus Rift is a more intense experience on my eyes and I get kind of worn out after a while. Still though it's absolutely worth while to plug it in sometimes and play in VR. The free games that come with it are cool, but Skyrim VR is more of a real game that's definitely worth playing. Still haven't used Vorpx yet (it's for playing non vr games in vr), but I'm sure I'll check it out at some point. Setup was pretty simple, though it did take some time. I installed the Oculus software before buying and glad I did. Ended up having to completely disable Windows Defender firewalls and McAfee firewalls in order for the download to work. Another tip: if your download stops at partial, you'll need to delete what has downloaded so far and start over. Like I said though, disabling all firewalls fixed that issue for me. So, other than some software troubleshooting it's been a good experience with the ol' Oculus Rift.

I originally wanted to demo the rift, but decided to bite the bullet and make the purchase. I LOVE IT! I've taken VR tours of places I will never be able to visit in Real life. I have walked in the crowds of Tokyo, Flown above the planet on an International Space Station spacewalk. I've only just started to explore the possibilities. Elite Dangerous, DCS A-10 Warthog and everything looks so much better in VR.

Great purchase! Comes with many games, and the IPD adjustment is the best. Seems to have a better and sturdier upgraded cranial support system than older model. MUCH CLEARER and no HDMI and bluescreen issues or boundary re-draw issues or dead pixels that I had with the HP Mixed Reality headset. Pros: best selection of games Best quality for the price Best support Best IPD adjustment Good headphones built in Great cranial support Cons: too many USB cables

The controllers are amazing, the sensors are great, the software is wonderful and the headset itself in unreal. Would I say it's better than the Vive? That's up to you, but overall for 100 dollars less you are still getting an extremely solid experience, and I have zero regrets about this purchase.

I have to say. Not a bad VR experience. I enjoyed the addition of the Marvel Game. Motion controls can be difficult at times, but I move my consoles around a lot because I have a small desk. I recommend a lot of room and a great, VR ready PC if you're planning to run a lot of games.

Oculus Rift is a super fun to play in limited sessions but I get dizzy if I play more than 15 minutes. The games that are included are an awesome and mind blowing introduction to VR. The controllers and PC connection make this a huge step up from my Gear VR. I couldn't really get into the Marvel game though, it was honestly just too intense in terms of making me dizzy. Theres a decent library of other games worth trying out, but overall there is a soft blur in the vision related to how the VR fits on my head. Ive tried fitting it differently (which does improve the vision) but it still ends up causing me eye fatigue so maybe VR just isnt right for me. Its kind of like sea sick ness that lasts the rest of the day. I noticed games that are less intense dont cause this, so its still enjoyable. Im hoping VR gets fine tuned headsets in the coming years because I definitely enjoy the immersive experience, just appreciate coming back to reality more since its so much sharper.

The VR experience is very enjoyable and almost addicting. The games in the bundle are worth the cost ($400 plus tax). The bundle came with 2 sensors which worked well, but after trying the game for a few days, I ordered a 3rd sensor also.

The Oculus Marvel Powers pack is a great intro the the VR gaming world. It combined with an Asus gaming computer has been a great stress reliever. Graphics are awesome. It’s a great escape from old school gaming.

I had seen the Rift I store but was unsure at first. So I purchased the Go. I loved the idea of being able to do more. So then I got the Rift. Very easy setup and easy to use. I love it!

I really liked it in the store, But Buyer Beware. The set up needs space, also two display cables HDMI for oculus and another for display. After purchasing a second display cable I found that sales person at store was incorrect saying I only needed very limited space, also had issues with brand new alienware R7 USB Ports and sensors kept telling me that USB drivers needed to be updated even though I had latest drivers installed (still not sure if it was defective sensor) As much as I wanted to enjoy this product I returned it as it was not worth all the effort and work. I will wait for more advancement of VR.

I picked up my Rift in February and we've enjoyed it so much that we got a second so we could play multiplayer games like Werewolves Within and Marvel Powers United together. It works fine sitting, but if you have the floor space, Rift really comes alive with a 6'x6' space or larger. I find this much more satisfying an experience than cardboard goggles or even Oculus Go -- this is the VR I was promised when I was a kid. I know there are always new technologies on the horizon, but I haven't regretted either of our Rifts in the slightest -- we're having a blast today, and that's what counts.
