Oculus rift is a lot of viritual fun and a workout

I absolutely adore my oculus rift. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another console!

The feeling of being immersed in VR is fantastic and outweighs the resolution and cloudiness issue that comes with the rift. The field of view can be better but it surpassed my expectations nevertheless. The 3D sound that comes with the headset is amazing and the controllers were very well designed and really natural to use.

At first, I was a little skeptical that I wouldn't really like it that much. But, after I bought it and tried it, I was like "wow!" I personally would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that has a PC that can handle it. 10/10 would buy again.

I tried it out in store and loved it. Unless you have a VR ready PC which for the desktop you can get closer to 1k and for laptop will be closer to 1.3k. So it will make the VR experience cost around 1.7k. A little steep for me but, I would def use at my friends place if they had one.

First step to set up oculus rift is to install the software from their web page (oculus/setup.com). I could never install the software in my computer, I tried many times. I have the following issue: "Restart Computer. Sorry, we encountered an error during installation. Please restart your computer and try running Oculus Set Up again. If you still experience issues, contact Oculus Support. Seems like this issue happens in many users and have to do some research to solve it. My computer meets the requirements to run the software. The solutions in support page did not help me to fix the issue, so I recommend to install the oculus software first before buy. I have returned the Oculus Rift the next day.

I was between this product and the HTC Vive. The Oculus is fantastic for the money. This product gives access to the Oculus store and Steam VR; whereas, the HTC Vive does not. Great product!

As a 7 year video game store manager Iv never played anything like this. This is already the best game experience ever and the future implications are bewildering to think of.
