I always install Home & Student on any new new laptop or desktop. I find there are very few meaningful improvements and updates in a year’s time and you only pay for it once. 365 costs you every year you renew and you just don’t get anything to die for in the way of updates.

I prefer to use a one-time upgrade rather than subscribe to an annual Office 365 subscription. This product allows this option. I'm glad Microsoft still offers this option. It would be nicer if it included the latest version of Outlook, however, which it doesn't.

Like the downloaded version rather than Office 365.

Office Home and Student has just the right amount of bang for students, teachers and general home users. This version does not require a yearly fee for use. I wouldn’t recommend it for intensive business use. Office is a must have program no matter what version you buy.

I had a much older version of Office and had been thinking of updating it. This version was included for free with a new HP laptop I purchased so it worked out well. It’s not the yearly subscription so I’ll have to update again eventually but it was too good a deal to pass up.

I’ve had my MacBook Pro for 2 years and had been using their version of word and PowerPoint for simple edits and presentations. It was okay, but then recently I was in much need of using Excel and that was what made me purchase this. It is definitely worth spending for these programs.

I have been using Office Home & Student for about 18 or 19 yrs. & have always been happy with it. I am sure this one will be just as good. have not put on computer yet because I am not sure if there are any changes to this version & I am not fond of change at all. I would much rather pay this amount rather than get the one for just 1 yr. subscription

I was searching for something, a software that could help me just to be able to work on small stuff in the office. And when this specific one was recommended, I had the software installed for me, I was all set to go. Everything has been running smoothly.

I bought this for my iMac, as many might know it does not come installed. It was an extremely necessary buy for my household since my husband and I have attended college and need the office essentials one gets with this. Very much necessary, too bad iMac did not have it installed.

The actual product Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excell, etc.) is great. Lots of tools and easy to use. I don’t like OneDrive though. I have to shut it down every time I boot up or else it will automatically upload all my files. I just want to save to a local disk and it is a hassle to keep my computer from constantly trying to save to OneDrive instead.

I don't see a need to get Office with an annual "subscription". Being retired there is no need to constantly have the most updated version and I believe it is a waste of money. I save money opting for a one time only purchase as I do not upgrade computers that frequently.

Bought new laptop, needed Office and I was not about to buy it every year so I bought a copy. Works like older versions and these subscriptions are a rip off. Anyone agree.

or students and families who want classic Office apps installed on one Windows 10 PC or Mac for use at home or school. Classic 2019 versions of Office apps including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Plus, OneNote for Windows 10. Make it so much easier for the kid to get there homework done.

Process worked well, don't seem to recall any hickups.

I you are going to use the Microsoft Office programs for any extended period of time, then it makes almost no sense to pay for essentially the same product(s) over and over. I don't see how subscription services on extended use save the customer money!

At least it still looks like Word 2010. . . The biggest issue is getting it up and running the way you want to: my new computer came with a trial of word 365, and it kept trying to use that instead of installing 2019. After I got that resolved, it still wants me to store everything in the cloud

Get a new computer, Office is a must for me! I write too many documents to not have Office on my computer! I chose the 1 Device, no monthly fee, just buy it outright! I don't want to keep paying every month if there are no updates!

I was so bummed my computer had only 2 ports. I went to Best Buy and was assisted in finding a USB port I could plug into my computer to make it a six USB port computer! Was very reasonably priced and I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and the expert sales advice I received!

Once installed on one's personal computer, this product stays permanently. This is not like the similar product which may cost a bit less, but must be periodically renewed. If one is not concerned about every possible upgrade as it appears, this is a much better deal.

Purchased this student software for a spare laptop that I use to travel out of country. I mostly only need the basic functions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint when traveling. Glad this lower price is offered to students and teachers. Meets my needs at an affordable price.
