Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since Microsoft is not updating their Office Suite 2010 anymore there were only 2 options. Either get Office 360 for a monthly or annual fee or buy this Office edition for a one time price and still get the updates through Windows 10. I was able to buy the program last Christmas for 1/2 price during a sale at Best Buy. The license is only good for one computer, so if you need to put it on your PC and/or your tablet and laptop, you have to buy more copies. The program includes the classic versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, but it is perfectly adequate for Home and Student use.

Moving to an Apple from a PC?

Fast and easy

I got hit when my last one debited my cc one year after loading. I understand that support and updates work just like the annual plans. Loading Word, Power Point and Excel from the web took some time but went flawlessly. There is a free trial of Outlook available but it’s not included. No problems with any programs so far but it’s only been a few days. If you’re a heavy MS Office user like me (and only have 1 device) I recommend this option

I use Word to make non-boring handouts). And I use the Power Point for image filled slides to review the chapter... makes the book much more interesting this way. hank you Microsoft for this wonderful product. But I can't figure out how to stop typing over text that I already typed, hence misspelled words... I can't correct them without retyping everything after the correction. sorry! Actually i should say that this is more complicated for me than the 2000 that i've been using for years, but i'm sure that i'll get used to it!

Office is just about a must have for any computer.

I did think it was kind of pricey to have to spend the extra money in order to get outlook. I would have preferred for them to leave Power Point out and put Outlook in.
