So far, my experience has been satisfactory. (Consumers should be aware of two different packages from Microsoft: one with an annual subscription which requires consumers to put a credit card on file; the other option is to buy a one year subscription. The one year subscription doesn't automatically update with the latest version of Microsoft Office but doesn't require a credit card on file. The caveat to the latter will require consumers to purchase the annual update, if he or she wants it.)

I have always had it for many years, going back to the original DOS version. I had to do this upgrade because I could not find the discs for the last version I installed on my PC. I had to have my computer reformatted due to corruption and I let the Geek Squad wipe it, reinstall soft ware including Turbo Tax and the new version of Office. Transition to the new version was seamless as all my files functioned, largely Word and Excel files.
