Don’t like how access as still “Apple”

For various reasons we got her an Apple MacIntosh desktop and it was difficult for her to access documents via Documents (she is 85). I added Word (and had to pay for Excel and PowerPoint even though I did not want them) to her Mac and found out that you have to access documents the exact same way you do in Documents. So — we are back where we started. Wasted my money.

Do not purchase online!

Called up Best Buy for support and they passed me on to Microsoft. I was back and forth with Microsoft and they still could not figure out why it would not work. After almost a month, I took it in to a Best Buy store to return. They figured out that the online shipment process was not done correctly. They did not activate the card prior to shipping. UGH!

I had Geek Squad install it and remove Office 10 in the store. I was told it works the same as Word 10 but it does not. I didn't get any directions. Right now Office 365 is pretty useless to me. I can't save things in my old files. I will have to go back to Geek Squad for an inservice about how to use this.

When I had a friend help me it said that the code had already been used and so I couldn’t download it. I tried to reach Microsoft tech support but it was impossible to get anyone on the phone and the computer help was not helpful. Bottom line: I got nothing for the money I spent so I’m using the pages app that came with my MacBook Air. I will never ever ever purchase anything from Microsoft again
